Should you get a chance, you would not be dissappointed in spending some of your free time in a city near you at one of the upcoming Riverboat Gamblers/Dead to Me shows. Punks at their finest. You might remember Dead to Me as our former Band of the Month for August, and in just a few days you will be able to read all about the Riverboat Gamblers in their interview. With the recent new releases of Dead to Me's Cuban Ballerina, and the Riverboat Gambler's The Confusion of our enemies, it is becoming no secret that these bands are pretty much the shit. The dates below are to be supported by local bands from each city, and will more than likely be one of the better shows you've seen in awhile. Besides, what else are you gonna do... watch Dog the Bounty Hunter??!
"I'm really excited about this tour. It's cool how everything worked out. I got their record "Cuban Ballerina" when it was released, and I was hooked since I first heard it. I played it for the other guys, and It soon became played over and over again in the van. So, when we had the dates for October, we all were like, "Whats Dead to Me doing!?" "We are pretty much peeing ourselves with excitement about this tour. We get to watch the best live band around night after night for a month, it doesn't get much better than that. They are the nicest dudes ever and are seriously one of a handful of bands around these days that are doing it for all the right reasons. They don't wear costumes or makeup, and they don't have trihawks with bullet belts. They are fucked up kids playing punk the way it is supposed to be played; with desperation and heart.
