Grey's Photography Journey: Coping with emotional Trauma by Grey
When I am not parading my bits on the world wide web, I like to document things and experiences by taking pictures. I also enjoy participating in full scale emotional trauma and dramatics, because I, Grey, am an all-or-nothing type of person and an artist. Some people call it bi-polar, some other people call it manic-depressive or just a mental imbalance, but I know its a commitment to being thorough in everything I do and its just less boring this way. So here is some hard evidence of my emotional outbursts. This was at some house in Hollywood at a friends party in March. I dont remember what caused this one. It could have been creative differences with my school, my frustration with some dude, SARS, I dont know. I usually dont remember because it isn't important, it just seems like its important at because I'm usually on the floor and/or crying, but its not. I hope you enjoy unbridled despair as much as I do. - Grey
Pretext by Annaliese Objective: No one is really sure what the objective of what Grey displaying her inner turmoil is. She could have one of many motives, but we are afraid to ask in fear that it will inflict further emotional stress on her because we are questioning her stability and/or criticizing her coping methods. So we try not to ask for details; instead we observe, laugh, console and support any decisions she makes. We’re her friends, and if she wants to roll around on the floor making noises which aren’t familiar to us as a reaction to something that has happened in her life, or something that she had heard about another person’s life that’s okay. The underlying understanding is if it upsets her, then it is a valid occasion for the following event to occur. Everyone has their own way of dealing with life’s conflicts as they arise, and this is her own unique way of letting us know, that things aren’t going that well for her and/or the rest of the world. That could be the objective. Yet, don’t ask, please. Don’t make it worse. Just observe.

Step One Draw attention to yourself. Grey found the nearest pole and decided she'd act sexy.
Step Two Act helpless. Grey fails at a graceful pole swing. Being extremely affected by something that’s happening in her personal life is altering her ability to move.
Step Three Check your pride at the door. Show them you just don’t care anymore even if it involves sliding your head across a checkered floor in some random bar. That doesn’t matter. The condition of your hair does not matter in the midst of anguish
Step Four Act out a slow agonizing death, but make it seem like you are actually dying. Faking a seizure can be the most effective.

Step Five Say goodbye to the world. Make your selfish, asshole, so-called "friends" feel guilty, even though they’re probably not sure what’s wrong with you because you refuse to talk about it. No, you don't need their advice. THERE IS NO SOLUTION.
Step Six Laugh at yourself. "WHAT IF I'M DYING. On the dancefloor. AND NO ONE CARES. WOULDN'T THAT BE FUNNY?"
Final Step/ Last resort Roll. Polishing off the act with an irrational move will leave your spectators speechless. Besides, everyone has obviously already lost interest, ready to forget this ever happened, except in this instance, Grey, who will probably hold it against them for an undefinable time period and repeat steps 1-7 whenever she finds necessary and inappropriate.
