So, despite being painfully broke this weekend until Tuesday (because of my stupid car), I am in surprisingly decent spirits.  Truth be told, I am harboring $ 25 in my wallet for possibly going to see the Dollyrots/Action Design play at the Knitting Factory Sunday night.  We'll see.  Another friend of mine and his band are performing at the

Car trouble.  And it appears to be the radiator.  I just had a new one put in about five years ago.  Wtf?

PLEASE be under the extended warranty.

EDIT:  Crap.  NOT under warranty anymore.  I will be spending almost $ 800 tomorrow to replace yet ANOTHER radiator.  This is an Acura 

Integra.  So much for amazing Acura quality.  NIX

So I went to see "Star Trek" last night and it pretty much rocked.  There are a few small things I would have changed, but overall it's a lot of fun.

And today some of us went to lunch and threw caution to the wind and had a few drinks.  It was good.  I wish I could do that every Friday.  Of course, now I have NO desire to work at all the rest

I seem to have gotten over the worst of the flu, but now seem plagued by a mild but persistant malaise of the ears, nose, throat variety.  It is not entirely usual and it vexes me.

So, I've managed to get the time off i need to go to NIX in Toronto this June, BUT, I just realized that my passport expired.  Fuck.  So I have to get that renewed uber fast if I even want a real chance of going.  I'm hoping I'll have the money still, as I've just seen a flight to Toronto for abotu $ 245.

Feeling more like myself.  I'll be going back to work tomorrow, unfortunately.  But more importantly, I'll be gonig to see "X-Men Origins: Wolverine" tonight at mindnight.  I hope it's not terrible.

The soup I made was awesome.  I ate it all week.  Yes, it's all gone already.  It was that good.  Yay, me!  : )

I have a low grade fever - about 99.5, but I have still been feeling like eating so I indeed made a pot of soup! 

Chicken and (mostly) potato soup.  With carrots, celery, a little onion, and some noodles, but I think I put in too much potato.  It's more like a stew.  It will cook all night.  I look forward to trying it tomorrow. 

I'm still

So I started coughing late last night.  I though it might just be dust be I'm still coughing this morning.  Throat is sore, too.  So, I can only hope I don't have the swine flu.  Ok, let's not over-react.  :)

I'll keep an eye on it and see what happens.  I am, however, home from work today.
