So, after that AMAZING sushi at Hide the other night, I am going to go out and have more in a few minutes.  Probably not Hide, it's all athe way over on the west side.  I'll just go to Kabuki, even though it won't come even close to being as good.  Then I'm off to see "EagleEye" and review it.  Then I think there's a glass or two of absinthe in my evening.  Oooo, unless I go to Jumbo's....I haven't been in such a long time.  Hmmm, we'll see how I feel later.  You never know.   : )

I'm going for sushi tonight!  I've been craving it for a while now.  Friend of mine likes this place called Hide on the west side.  Anyone ever been there?  I'll check out Yelp to see what folks are saying.

Edit:  Wait- I think I've been there.  Once.  But I didn't realize it was cash only so i didn't get much so I couldn't really judge the place.  This will be a good chance to get a real taste of things.  : )

I can't wait for some albacore and ponzu sauce....and salmon.  Damn I want some salmon.

I got my ticket to see the Sisters of Mercy on December 2nd at the Henry Fonda.  Sweet!

I even bit the bullet and got it through Ticketmaster, which I hate.  But it was the only way and I really want to see them.

Looking forward to it!

Ok, so it starts tonight.  I hope it doesn't suck.  : )

So last night I was finally able to make one of the GG parties!  Shit, it was fun!  I finally got to meet some of you fine people.  It's cool to know there are lots of good people involved with this community.  It's what makes it so great.
Great to see the Haad and Ari and Leira again.  Good to meet Inkofthesoul, among others, whose names might escape me at the moment because of the sheer number of them and the half dozen+ vodka tonics I consumed.  : )
It was awesome to meet Amor, Charlie, Aiden, Orian, Jenna, Ronnie - who is a real kick in the pants.  You know when you point to something on someone's shirt and say, "Hey, what's that?",  then you flick the person's nose?  Yeah, I fell for that when I was like, 5.  And again last night.  Oh, that Ronnie!  What a card!   : )

And of course, I had the immense pleasure of finally meeting Rob and Eden.  Gotta say, these are two fine people.  Eden is a total sweetheart and easily defines why people refer to women as the "better half" in a relationship.  Though Rob was indeed a trooper for being out all night after being sick for the past couple days.  I still owe you a birthday drink, Rob, when you're feeling up to it. 

A really fun night and I'm honored to have met everyone. 

Tonight I'm off to the Farmer's market to see a friend's band play at about 9 pm.  I'll probably go over for a bite to eat and a few beers, too.

I just heard about this!

For those that are fans of Pink Floyd, their original member and keyboardist, just died of cancer the other day.  He was a major contributor on much of the albums "Meddle", "Wish You Were Here", "Dark Side of the Moon", among others, and certainly had a distinctive sound that was solely Pink Floyd. 

Rest In Peace, Rick.

EDIT:  Whew.  Ok, sorry.  I have had a shitty day.  WAY fucking busy in here and I'm still working.  I'm trying to not come in tomorrow, but we'll see how much I get done tonight.  I really don't want to be here tomorrow.  I have much to do early then I plan on spending the later part of the day drinking and watching the USC/Ohio state game.  Then I may be off to see the Atomic Punks later on at the Key Club.  I just really plan on having fun.
