Makin' extra $$

Yeah, so the IT department needed some help today so I figured I'd make some extra dough.  I'd like it to be tattoo money, dammit!

Then it's off tonight for drinks with friends.

Hope you're all having a wonderful weekend!

Cheers!

Last night at the Hollyowood Bowl...

Damn, what a great show!  Some friends of mine saw The Police months ago at Staples Center when their tour started and they said it was only OK.  Apparently The Police were rusty, sounded off, and not jiving well.

Last night at the Bowl, they were fucking great.  Totally tight, like the pros they are.  And they appeared to be having a good time, too.  I was impressed.
And Elvis Costello opened, which was a big plus.  I would like to see him in a more personal venue, though.  I find his music to be better suited to a smaller place.  But a great show wither way.  SO glad I got to go - for FREE!  Tix would normally have been $ 155, so I consider myself really lucky.  : )

Tomorrow's Friday, and that can only be a good thing, right?

Cheers!

So I was in Chandler, AZ all this past weekend.  A friend of mine had a birthday and he and his wife through a big 80's party.  they have this amazing house and back yard.  They put up a big screen in back to project VH1 Classic videos and music all night  with lots of booze, shooters and even had some guy show up to make tacos/carnitas for a couple hours.  And they rocked, btw.
At some point around 4 AM or so, I was told I was doing shots from a beer bong.   Clearly this is during the hour I have no memory of.  I haven't been that drunk in oh so long.  Thankfully.

I crashed on a mattress with these sheets:

That's funny.  I love Scooby.  I'm a dork.

They also have this room they converted into a movie theater.  It's awesome:

The picture and sound are amazing.  There was even another Scooby bed for someone else.  And even weird white spirit spheres in the frame.  Or maybe just dust on the lense.  ; )

Either way- it was lots of fun.  Sunday, after going to bed at about 6 AM, I spent the day in bed very hung over, obviously.  Watched "300" in the home theater, then Monday we all went to see the "Prince Caspian" movie which was fun, the off to Mill Street in Tempe.  Went to this bar with dueling pianos called The Big Bang.  It's loads of fun.  I'll go back there again for sure.

All in all a really great weekend.

And then I come back to tons of new sets!  Yay!  You're all beautiful!

And tonight I'm going to the Police/Elvis Costello show for free?  Wow.  Crazy.

Damn- I think I just scored a random ticket to see that show tonight at the Hollywood Bowl.  Coolness.

Edit:  Did I mention it was free?  It is!

Yeah, saw it last night.  Only about six people of a sold out audience clapped.  About six of them "booed".  The rest left awfully quietly, including me.

I have discovered that the question marks are hiding in the space bar on my keyboard!  Now how do I get rid of them...?

So I'm gonna try to see that new Indy movie tomorrow night.  I'm a little wary of it; not sure if it will disappoint me or not.  But I will see it either way.
Saturday morning I think I'm going to Chandler, Arizona for this friends' big party.  I haven't been on a road trip for some time.  I'm way overdue.  And it's looking to be a hell of a good time.  There are lots of people I haven't seen in ages.  although, I'm not looking forward to paying the gas.  It's a fucking crime that it's $ 4 a gallon.  Fucking oil companies and G. W. Bush.  Hate.

Oh, I can't wait for my rebate check.  Any day now...  And no, it doesn't make me like Bush any more.  : )

Wednesday down, two more to go.

On Fridays, Summer schedules, and an attack of question marks...

So another week down.  Seems like it went pretty quick.  I'm out of here early today because it's Graduation Day at USC and it's slow.  And next week, the Summer schedule begins and I'll have Mondays off 'til August!  Who doesn't love three day weekends in the Summer?  I know I do!

We may, however, have to spend the coming weeks in underground bunkers because the question mark invasion has reached epic proportions.  I'm not afraid to say it, folks, but I'm afraid of all these question marks popping up randomly in all my posts.  They're gonna be the death of us, i just know it.  Used to be the insects I was scared of, but now, all these Query Symbols are giving me the willies.

Good luck, people!  Don't ask any questions over the weekend! That'll just encourage them!   ; )

Most of my posts today seem to have attracted a flock of unwanted question marks.  They're turning up everywhere after I post.  I am perplexed.
