NERD ALERT! Ray Bradbury screenings at the Egyptian 10/02/08 11:41 am pst
Listening to:

There are going to be three films screening at the Egyptian Theater in Hollywood on October 10 and 11 and Ray Bradbury will be there in person!  "Something Wicked This Way Comes on the evening of the 10th, and a double feature of  "Moby Dick", and "The Beast From 20,000 Fathoms" on Saturday night the 11th.
Yes, they are all based on Bradbury stories, and he wrote two the the screenplays.  Adn I've seen Ray Bradbury speak- he is always inspirational!  He a amazing and I HIGHLY recommend any opportunity to see him.

I think I really need to go to this.   I love Farenheit 451 and I didn't know Bradbury was still alive AND making public appearances.   That's amazing!!!

He is still live, but he had a stroke a couple years ago so he is often in a wheelchair, but as of a couple years ago his speech was not impaired so he could still inspire with his voice.  However, he is about 80 years old now so when you get a chance to see him, you just fucking do it.  : )

An damn those sneaky silent "h's"!     ; )

Excellent, then I won't have to fumble interminably with my keys at the door to California.
