I met him.   It was glorious.

Yeah, he' sfuckin' great.  Met him in NY once ad had him sign my leather jacket at the time.  Then met him at the Good Luck Bar here in L.A.  Also once met Philthy Animal Taylor at the Cat N'Fiddle once.  He was pretty funny.  then I'd see him every so often at Rite Aid putting bottles of booze in a shopping cart.   : )
