I got to see the premiere of My Name is Bruce. It was pretty fucking awesome. Its pretty much about Bruce Campbell being mistaken for his roles in movies and some kid from some small town kidnaps him and gets him to fight this demon that appears in their town. Bruce was there in person, and we got to do a Q&A but my r'mate was bummed that he wasn't signing stuff. I love Bruce, but its not the end of the world if I can't get to take a picture with him or whatever (already shook his hand at the premiere for Man with the Screaming Brain!).
If you get a chance, watch the original version of Let the Right One In. Hollywood has already procured the rights to refilm it and I can see a total massacre of the story coming. It was a very nontraditional vampire movie where the vampire is a 12 year old (in appearance) girl who befriends a boy of the same age who has problems with other kids at school.
Another movie absolutely worth watching is The Subtitute. This film was just so much fun to watch. An alien comes to earth and assumes the identity of a substitute teacher and wants to learn what makes humans different from them whilst trying to conquer them. Both kids and teacher are just so colorful in their lines that you just end up rolling in your seat with laughter.
Need to work on getting a new job, have a wedding to attend the day after Halloween (in a castle!).
Maybe later I'll post some more about some of the movies i got to see at the last festival I went to.

NOO! WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH HOLLYWOOD?!?!
I am so very upset right now. I'll get over it in 7 seconds, but I will never forget this injustice. I hope it bombs and people burn down the theater. (or drink the producers blood).
Let the right one in (the original) <3
