| About Me Moved from Minnesota to Austin in 2001 and been enjoying it down here. I did a bit of traveling in China back in '99 through the college, and would love to go back to visit.
I am a jack of all trades and master of none.
I love to BS with people about just about anything and everything.
My vocabulary may not always be choice, but I think my actions and emotions will usually show what I am thinking.
I am a HUGE fan of Redheads and have been since seeing Daphne on Scooby Doo, Molly Ringwald, Tanya Roberts in Beast Master, and there was one really cute girl in elementary school (when I was that age you pervs!) that had the most beautiful spiral curled copper red locks. By all means, I am a "31 flavors" kinda guy. Life would be so boring if everyone looked the same, no? |
| Why Im a GodsGirl's Member I saw a few of the ladies at Fantastic Fest for the premier of Feast 2, and they mentioned the site.

So, I've been slacking. My mom came for a visit for the week, and it was pretty cool. We were going to do this crazy zipline thing thru a Cedar tree canopy, but the off-season times meant they were closed when we wanted to do it. >_< I got to see the premiere of My Name is Bruce. It was pretty fucking awesome. Its pretty much about Bruce Campbell being mistaken for his roles in movies and some kid from some small town kidnaps him and gets him to fight this demon that appears in their town. Bruce was there in person, and we got to do a Q&A but my r'mate was bummed that he wasn't signing stuff. I love Bruce, but its not the end of the world if I can't get to take a picture with him or whatever (already shook his hand at the premiere for Man with the Screaming Brain!). If you get a chance, watch the original version of Let the Right One In. Hollywood has already procured the rights to refilm it and I can see a total massacre of the story coming. It was a very nontraditional vampire movie where the vampire is a 12 year old (in appearance) girl who befriends a boy of the same age who has problems with other kids at school. Another movie absolutely worth watching is The Subtitute. This film was just so much fun to watch. An alien comes to earth and assumes the identity of a substitute teacher and wants to learn what makes humans different from them whilst trying to conquer them. Both kids and teacher are just so colorful in their lines that you just end up rolling in your seat with laughter.
Need to work on getting a new job, have a wedding to attend the day after Halloween (in a castle!).
Maybe later I'll post some more about some of the movies i got to see at the last festival I went to.
Still recouping after Fantastic Fest. Saw awesome movies like Rocking Rolla, Martyrs, The Good the Bad and the Weird, Gachi, Surveilance, Deadgirl, Dr. Infierno and all sorts of crazy fucking movies. Check out www.Fantasticfest.com to see more of what you missed and will get to see in the near future! B-day tomorrow... No biggy. Not much planned there. Sunday however is Henry Rollins, at La Zona Rosa, doing his thing. This is the 2nd year in a row that he has done this the day after my b-day, and I still think he just can't get the venue booked for the 4th (yes, that is a rare moment of me being egocentric!). I can't wait! Just got tix to My Name is Bruce, with guest appearance by God Almighty Himself, Bruce Fucking Campbell!!!!! Can't wait for Oct 26th to come any sooner!
