About Me Richard Kadrey is a writer and photographer living and working in San Francisco. He shoots glamour, fetish, and surreal portraits in a style/technique dubbed "Dark Light." He's also published journalism, dozens of short stories and four novels, including his new one, BUTCHER BIRD (July 2007, Night Shade Books). He has no qualifications for anything he does.
