I have a JOB INTERVIEW!!!

Tonight I have a job interview at the Batcave. It's a night club in Road Town (the capital city of the BVI). It's the only "real" night club. I really hope I get the job. I need money. I haven't worked since December so my savings is shot. Bartenders here make really good money. Woo Hoo! Wish me luck! Keep your fingers crossed!
Happy Halloween!

I hope everyone has a great night. I have no Halloween plans. I am cooking and have decided to stay at home tonight. Today has been such an awesome day. My Mom will be here in a week. I have to get ready for her stay. It should be fun.
Groundhog's Day

My life is like the movie Groundhog's Day. It's that predictable. It's always the same. I really need to change that.

Last night I went to Spaghetti Junction. I ate curried tofu and drank too much. I always do when around the crowd of people that I was with. It's my coping mechanism because I feel uncomfortable and never know what to say.

I also had an asthma attack and had to use my inhaler. Classy. I lose.

Fort Burt.

Today my boyfriend and I went to Fort Burt. We had an incredible brunch. There was even food that I could eat.   I stuffed my face with fruit and a fresh greens salad.

During 17th Century, this Fort was built by the Dutch to provide optimum defense for Tortola's main port. Fort Burt was the first of many forts to be built around surrounding hillside. In 1776, the fort was rebuilt by the English. Named after William Burt, Governor of the Leeward Islands.

I have been doing a lot of thinking. I stayed up all night and pondered various issues that were/are affecting my life. Some issues are small. Some issues are big.  I have come to a conclusion that was HUGE for me. I had that "Ah Ha" moment. It was fabulous. Now the changes begin.

Finally I get results!

I got the test results back from my surgery. The polyp, mass and fibroids that were removed were cancerous. Good news is that the surgeon removed all of the cancer cells. He is contacting my neurosurgeon back in the US to discuss my risks of having any more seizures or strokes. After he disusses this with him, he will decide any further treatments. I am going to be put on some sort of hormone therapy at some point. Maybe tempory, maybe not. I am happy with the results because it looks like I will not have to deal with any more surgeries. Please ladies, Remember monthly self breast exams and yearly pap smears can save your life.

The landlady hired a "gardener". This is what he did to the trees!

This makes me sad. A pile of cut down trees!

This was a beautiful tree that hung over the driveway. It had purple blossoms. Kitties and chicken slept in it's branches.

I'm sick! Runny nose, sneezing, fever, coughing and the occasionally bloody nose. Yuck. I'm allergic to life and the bed is my best friend.
I am a drawing!

I am so excited about this, maybe even too excited.

The artist that drew this is Gianluca Miatta. www.startupsite.net He is such a sweet guy and I love his style. Tell what you guys/girls think? I think he captured me perfectly right down to my "I don't care" facial expression. I have decided that I must go to London in January. I have been dying to see London and I figured that meeting Emma would be a opportunity that I would regret if I let it pass by. I figured that even if I have to beat up tourists for money that it would be worth it.  I have to figure out details of where to stay and how long I can stay. I've been researching hotels but I don't even know what area to look in.  Hopefully I will be able to afford a new tattoo also while in London. There are no tattoo artist here and I have been dying for a new tattoo. I know what I want but I keep changing my mind about where on my body I want it. Right now I am debating between right tricep or inner portion of arm and possibly ribs. Anyone else planning on going to London?
