I am still working 7 days a week. I did hire a new girl yesterday. She doesn't know know to make many drinks but is eager to learn. Hopefully she will work out so I can take a day off soon. I need a vacation. I don't even care where at this point just somewhere off of this island. I got Christmas presents from my Mom yesterday. Yay! Clothes, which I badly needed. Everything I own is too big for me. Nexi from PF.com sent me a shirt. It's too cute. Love it. I feel so special when I receive mail. I haven't looked at a GG set in a while and that makes me sad. Hopefully I will be able to catch up soon. I miss Gods Girls!

I can't wait to receive it. I worked until 4:00 AM this morning. I almost walked out and quit my job last night. I hate being the only one sober and busting my ass on a daily basis. Last night was madness at Bombas Surfside Shack. Some people don't know when to stop drinking and GO HOME!   There were lots of cute guys to ogle last night and I made loads of tips so it wasn't too bad of a night. I am about to go to Christmas brunch at the Long Bay Beach Resort then I am baking more cookies. Yay! I love to bake. I have to work again tonight at 6:00 PM. I like the new look. I have been so busy lately. I have been working everyday. I am missing my friends and family. I will be working on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day. At least I will be able to drink and listen to live music while working. Tips have been really great. I am so thankful for that.

It's great.

I got a job bartending at Bomba's Surfside Shack. I started yesterday. I worked 3:30PM-3:30AM. I got 3 marriage proposals. 2 "cheat on my boyfriend" proposals. Made 100.00 in tips and drank lots of Bomba's punch (fruit juices, rum and mushrooms). It was a good and crazy first night. I am exhausted. I have to work again tonight at 6:00 PM.

I have a job interview this evening. I am excited. It's for a bartending position at Bomba's Shack. The home of the ull Moon parties. I hope I get the job, if not, I may be leaving the island and moving back to the U.S. Here's what Bomba's looks like.

I am feeling the itch to move again. I can't stay in one place too long without feeling anxious. I have always felt this way. I always want to experience new things, meet new people. The reality of my situation is quite different. I will probably be here until October 2007.

My Thanksgiving was quite boring. I watched the Thanksgiving Day parade all alone. It was quite sad. No phone calls or emails from family members. I tried to get in touch with my siblings, no luck. My boyfriend and I did go to dinner at a resort. They were having a Thanksgiving style six course buffet. To my surprise, lots of vegan and vegetarian dishes. I eat lots of fresh greens, fruit, nuts and drank wine. I stuffed myself.

What are your plans for Thanksgiving? Thanksgiving isn't celebrated here but American tourist do visit here during the holiday. Some resorts on the island are offering Thanksgiving style dinners. I am going to the restaurant at the Long Bay Beach Resort & Villas, 1748, with my boyfriend and two American girls, Rochan and Amberley. They wanted to celebrate Thanksgiving so we all decided to do that instead of trying to cook a meal ourselves. 1748 is offering a six course meal with plenty of choices. Yay! I received a menu ahead of time and noticed tons of vegan/vegetarian options on the menu and even had an opportunity to speak to the Chef in charge of the feast. Andries eats meat but Amberley and Rochan are (lax) Vegetarians. I am very strict about what I eat. I don't eat animal products and I have to be really careful about being around eggs and seafood. I am highly allergic. If it even touches my skin, I could have a reaction. Luckily, 1748 is sensitive to food allergies and dining preferences. I believe that all of us will have a great time.

I have been thinking a lot about Christmas lately. I have been organizing my Christmas card list. I have decided to send out tons of Christmas cards this year and hopefully I will be able to include some pictures. If I have your address, Be on the lookout for a card in your mailbox! I really want that phone that GG and the Deftones are giving away. I love it and I am too poor to afford a phone. I am still looking for a job with no luck. It's depressing. I feel like an unworthy loser. I am so sick of being poor. I hope everyone has a good evening.

I am not even sure why. I feel bored all the time. I need excitement. I need to break out of this rut but I am unsure how to do it. Boredom is killing me!

Sorry I have been absent. My Mom came to visit. It was her first time visiting the Caribbean. We drank a ton and I ended the week with a bad sunburn. Damn my pasty skin.
