This weekend started out amazing. On Friday, I went to the Hatebreed show at the Canal Club in Richmond, VA. It was awesome. We got out of work late so we got there only got to see Hatebreed and part of the band before Hatebreed. It was still amazing though. In that time, on of my buddies that came with me got punched in the nose, eye and has a cut down his arm because of the mosh pit being so brutal. I have a bruise on the side of my temple from getting hit. But other than that I don't have anything wrong with me, which is surprising because I'm only 5'6 165lbs. Then we got back to AP Hill, and thats when all the drama started

This Navy Corpsman tried to bitch me out when we got back because the dude that was all cut and bruised was standing guard. And the Corpsman was trying to say he was drunk and all this. I just bitched him out, saying he's not fucking drunk. You're fucking hammered and don't know what you're talking about. The corpsman was completely wasted. You could smell the alcohol as soon as he walked into the squad bay. But that was just the beginning. Saturday rolls around, and it's a bunch of people about 20 or so that are all attached to this command to do some work for them while they have some training going on. And they just completely treat us like shit, don't let us use the rental cars, anything so we're stuck on base. We can't go to the gas station buy some beer and come back, nothing. But every night they go out and get hammered. Every fucking night. And all they have to say to us is that we are shitty support who show no motivation at all.

Surprise surprise, lets stick 20 people in a squad bay(the rooms about 100ft x20ft.) And think they will just allow themselves to be shitted on. But they let us go out for friday night to go to walmart, I lied and said I was going to walmart, but went to the show, they never found out. But because we are "immature" "unmotivated" and "shitty workers" we are grounded again. only so they can all go out and have more vehicles to go out in.

I don't even go out that much while I'm here because I'm paying off my credit card because I spend about 0$ a day if I stay on base, so I don't mind it. But you can't stop everyone from going out thats a bunch of bullshit. Not to mention, because of the hurricane they let all the people with a wife and/or kids go back to North Carolina. So about 5 people got to go home because they have a wife and kid. Which is the standard for the Marine Corps, if you have a wife or kid you get all these extra privileges. Which is another thing that erks my chain but thats another story for another time.

Right now, I'm stuck on duty, when I should be getting ready to watch football.
