Just got home from work to find out that my room mate let the cat out to piss when he was smoking a cigarette; couldn't get her to come back inside so he just let her go about her business assuming she'd return. That was around 12pm this afternoon, it's now 7:40. The sweetest girl I ever met and she's gone like that. Thanks for the food, water, shelter and love, BUT I'M FUCKING OUT. This is so god damn typical of my life at this point it's making me lose my mind. I can't go one day without something terrible happening to cap it off. Not only is my cat gone, but I've got a summons to appear before the Superior Court of California July 1st to pay 246 dollars in fines or face the consequences. I didn't think I'd be so upset over losing a cat I had for one night, but that little black and gray purr-machine made me smile dammit. Now she's gone. Got what she wanted from me and left. Just like every girl I've ever dated. My head hurts and I want to cry, but men don't cry. We shove our emotions deep down into the pit of our souls and drown them with booze. Excuse me I have to get drunk now.
Fuck I'm gonna miss that cat...

I have a stray that kind of adopted me a year ago, she's a snatch though and loves up on me one minute, then claws the shit out of my hand seconds later..she's pretty much a woman.

For all their love and affections, cat still have that "fuck you, I'm independent" nature about them. Hopefully, once she realizes that the outside world blows and a nice warm house with food isn't so bad after all, she'll come trotting back. Have you thought about posting signs around town?
