Today ends my three week extravaganza of World Series of Video Games (WSVG). I have spent the past three weeks doing almost nothing but that. Two weeks ago I had an event I staffed at in Kentucky for the WSVG and it was quite absolutely amazing. I got to see friends I haven't seen in about a year and I made some new ones that I hope to see at events to come. The event itself ran incredibly smooth, minus two or three minor issues. There were over 10,000 walkthroughs over a course of five days, more than I have ever heard of from a american gaming event, Dreamhack being the only one, world wide. I had a week to sit back and attempt to recouperate from the event and then it was back out for another event in Dallas Fort Worth, TX. This one is one that has happened annually for the past ten years, it was ran by the world renouned Cyberathlete Professional League (CPL), until this year when Games Media Properties (GMP) and WSVG aquired the rights to the event and ran it better than it would have been run. Tons of events, great prizes for the competitors and all the computer and console gaming your little heart could take. We just finished with take down today, my roommate and good friend, Nick, left at about four this afternoon and since then I have been sitting in my room doing almost nothing. I created my GodsGirls account, I have been wanting to do so ever since I opened up a bank account a month ago, and it's been pretty awesome so far. I've spent the latter part of the day reminiscing over the event and life. I actually got out just a little bit ago and walked around the resort I am staying in, for free. Quite peaceful to walk around with no one outside, the occasional car driving by, and the wind blowing in your face. It was really calming and worth it. Overall I had a great time in the past three weeks. There have been times where I didn't want to go home and there were times where I just wanted to walk out and leave. Tons of stress has been put upon me and it's finally off. I am really glad. I wish you all the best of luck and to anyone reading this, have a good night/morning. Brad
