Been awhile since Ive posted a journal, so nows the time.

First off my friend and i went to Coachella once again and has an awesome time. We bought the 3 day pass and it was worth every penny. Day one was cool as I got to see Perry Farrells new  band Satellite Party and they were fun. Nothing to scream to the heavens for but solid. Silversun Pickups were next up a totally rocked. ive been in to them for awhile so it was great to finally see them live. Ive always come close to seeing them but something came. whatever. Back to them, they sounded great on the main stage and held their own up there. Artic monkeys had high energy songs but it was lame to see them just stand in one place for the whole set. disappointment. The Jesus & Mary Chain were on the plate next and we made sure to be as close as possible for this one. The great thing about coachella is if your a stoner you can smoke practically anywhere if yr smart. So as they launched into their set we tore in to a blunt and were wowed by how great they sounded. Scarlett johansson was smoking hot, minus the hat,  and a pleasant surprise for Just like honey. Jarvis Cocker  at the outdoor theater was solid but sound problems delayed marred the set times which fucked up plans. Nevertheless, Sonic Youth turned in a solid set as well that began with "candle" but had too much rather ripped material for my liking. Mark Iblod, formerly of Pavement, was on bass that night which allowed Kim to play guitar. As a result of the sound problems earlier sonic's ser ran over and messed up my friends plans to see bjork. I was planning to stay there as DJ Shadow was closing the night there. Shadow was great but was better when i saw him at the Avalon  but once again blame sound problems. Day 1 in the books. whatta bitch gettin out the parking lot. A sandstorm, fatigue, and frustration is not a good combo.

Day 2.
Because of the late night beforehand we slept in and didnt get in until 5pm. That was ok as we planned  to see Peter Bjorn & john. Unfortunately we didnt plan on the sun being so intense and that just drained us as the tent was an oven with the sun shining directly in. After my friend heard the songs she wanted to hear we took off for relief. Kings of Leon rocked the main stage as we chilled near the beer tents.  Ghostface Killah at the outdoor theater was our next act and it was there that i saw my first look at the GodsGirls beachball. Weed smoke was all over the place and everyone was having a good time there. Hands up in the air. The ball came my way and i hit it up but later on it landed on my head, but its all good.  Blonde Redhead had major sound problems at the cursed stage so we only saw a couple of songs and headed over to the main stage for the RHCP's. In all my years  of concert going i had never seen them and they ruled the stage.  The crowd was  in the palm of their hands.  My friend got overheated so we left the crowded part and saw the end of the set from  the back of the crowd.  It was then that i realized that if the crowd was this big for RHCP, the RATM is gonna be insane. Good Bad and the Queen were the final act that night for us and  delivered the goods in a major way.  From their outfits to the string section  and overall performance i knew that i wanted  to see them again.  Two down  the main event is tomorrow. Oh yeah i also got one of the GG beach balls and took it home that night.  whatta score!

Day 3.
The Roots began the day and totally wowed the crowd. Willie Nelson on the main stage along with beer and weed proved to be the perfect combo . Second hand weed smoke as well. I thought there was alot of smoking during Ghostface but man Willies crowd had them beat. Crowded House provided the soundtrack to an argument between my friend and i then background music. boy/girl bullshit. Manu Chao practically stole the show as everyone began coming over tou the main stage for RATM right afterwards. Manu Chao is kinda like latin ska, punk, and a whole lotta balls. Great stuff. And this is me the music snob saying this. RATM were next and i was ready. I wore my Doc Martins that day and was ready to kick ass if need be. Good thing i did as i wouldve lost my vans in all the pits that  were popping up thru the night. RATM was a band that i had on a list of bands that i wished i had seen but hadnt. Scratch them off now as they tore into an aweome display of the "hits". From start to finish the crowd was into it. After all was said and done the crowd dispersed all beat up looking and i was no different. Whatta show.
Overall an awesome event that i look forward to next year.  Ive  been to 3 of them and  love it.

On the way home everything was great until some asshole rear ended us and totalled my friends car. We were ok and by all accounts people are saying we were lucky as the damage was pretty major. What do we owe thanks to besides our seat belts?
 WEED. No joke, we were so relaxed from smoking  in the car the whole way back tht when the impact hit us it wasnt so bad. We know other people whove been in accidents and they all saw it coming and braced for the hit while we were caught by surprise.  How 'bout that?

Also got my cool RATM shirt too!

So yes its taken me quite a long time to put something new up but ive just been dealing with the hand that life has dealt me. So first up is im quasi single but not as my girlfriend of 5 years decided to take a break but were still seeing each other. Weird but in some ways it had to happen.

 

But getting back to the subject at hand, since i havent been getting laid regularly ive been watching porn more than ever and that a lot since i watch it a lot to begin with. Being a video clerk is pretty cool when you wanna watch new porn. So ive been watching this girl Sasha Grey and man is she filthy and young...the way i like it.  Well being that i was closing the vid store this past Wed, i decided to get buzzed and bought a six pack of beer and smoked a few bongloads.  The store was all dark except for the light coming from the tv, and 35 min into my self session i decided it was time to cum, but being that i like to do shit that i can tell people later on and laugh when i see the shock on their face i decided i wanted to do something different. We have a new poster for the movie VOLVER that my co worker hasnt put up yet so i took a cue from Almodovar himself and rolled out the poster which was at arms length stared at Penelope's face and launched a huge load all over her face.  If you havent seen the film its great but Penelope evokes memories of Sophia Loren throughout. Beauty. I laughed when i saw how much cum there was but took great satisfaction in what i had done. Kinda like in Almodovar's Matador where the lead character is masturbating to scenes from Mario Bava's and Jess Franco's films.

 

Its gonna be funny to look up at that poster when they hang it up knowing my dried load is on there, but fuck it. lol.

Saw GRINDHOUSE and it was a masterpiece. From start to finish its my kind of movie.  Im writing two films right now and am very excited as by watching this i feel im on the right path. This Tues is a signing with Q Tarantino at the Virgen on Sunset in Hwood and i  already got my wristband!!! I gotta thank the man who inspires me to be ME. 

So the new year came and so did my girl...but back to my point. The year started off with a bang as my gal and i killed two bottles of champagne and smoked some green.

I picked up a new dvd for myself "Pandora's box". While i still havent seen the movie the thick booklet alone has me droolin'. Louise Brooks is truely in a league of her own.

Had an awesome xmas as well with tons of goodies.

I also have a brand new kitty named Henry. I named him that in tribute to Goodfellas. HENRY! He's pretty cool but really chatty, which im not used to. He's about 5 months old. Henry:Portrat of a Serial Kitty.

I saw an INCREDIBLE film today called "Volver". If you havent seen or heard of it, do yrself a favor and see it. It stars the lovely Penelope Cruz and was directed by one of the masters, Pedro Almodovar. Truely a masterpiece it ranks as my second favorite film of 2006 behind "The Departed". Suspenseful, funny, heartfelt and thought provoking it has all the trademarks of an Almodovar film. Penelope is so great and her performance moved me so much that i got a lil tearry eyed at one point. Fans of cleavage will surely enjoy this film as I certainly did too. Its in Spanish with subtitles but as usual some of the humor gets lost in translation but nevertheless it is still far better than the drivel that passes for box office gold i.e Pirates of the Carrib 2...man the action is entertaining but the story is weak and there's hardly any suspense going into the third movie. fluff.   WATCH VOLVER.

I also picked my fave cd's of the year but ill put up the list when i find it. My favorite cd was TV ON THE RADIO. What an album! Scarling put out an awesome single as well, "Staring to the sun".

Im tired and my neck hurts so goodnite or goodmorning lurkers.

So this past friday was my birthday and I LOVED IT.

But before i get into that lets go over some stuff thats been on my mind lately.

First off I had an old clerks experience the week before last when i got called into work  unexpectedly. I opened the store an hour and a half later than usual and immediately got into it with some tourist fuck who was returning porno tapes. I was patient at first but when i saw that he wasnt even regular customer and he's giving me shit, thats  when i let him have it. He was being really condescending to me, so when gave him back his cash deposit and he told me "thank you for being so irresponsible" and began to walk out I replied "thank you for being a jerk!" The look on his face was great. Later on i recieved more joy from the incident when I heard from the liquor store owner's  wife that the guy was there since 9:00 am. Thats his fuckin fault as our store sign cleary says OPEN 11:00am M-Sun. whatta jerk off.

Thats not the end of though as later on i called a little kid a piece of shit. Now, dont  think for a second that i make this a daily habit. The kid just pushed my buttons and i let him have it. Its starts with this bratty 10 year old coming in with his mom whose husband is regular customer. The kid has always been a nuiscance and we tell his parents but they dont listen. He's always trying to go into the porno section, picks up dvd cases and places them all over the store, and once gave the finger to a customer. Well this time as he and his mom were leaving he began to pull on our makeshift pen chain thats made out of rubber bands. His mom was already out of the store and he began to pull more on it. It told him not to do that and to put it in its right place. he just smirked and pulled again and let go. The fucking pen hits the computer and nothing happens but im pissed at this point. As the kid stands there i say  " you fuckin piece of shit if  you ever do that again im gonna cancel your parents goddamn membership and ban you from the fuckin store! do you hear me? Im not playing around either. go tell your mom!" Words cant describe the look he had on his face. just stunned. he began to walk backwards out of the store and looked around for his mom but nothing happened. I was expecting to get into it with the mom but nope. I hadnt had a more Clerk-like day since i started clerkin again. I have to admit it felt great playing the role of Randall from CLERKS but in real life once more. But the kid had it coming to him. By the expression on his face nobody had ever done that to him so maybe now he'll think a little bit more about who to fuck around with.

Kfed's album came out and im laughing my ass off and all the shit surrounding that loser right now. Although i do wanna see that porno tape with Britney. shes gotta be good for something and it aint singing some maybe fuckin and suckin is her forte. By the way we have that Screech porno at my job and im gonna check out hoopla. i wanna see what kind of trim saved by the bell can get you 10 years later. ive heard audio clips on Stern on sirius radio(great gift idea for yr friends) and they sound hilarious. they whole seeling point of the dvd is to see him give one of the girls a "dirty sanchez". but i heard he only uses his finger though so it really isnt one. sick shit but probably funny. theres also a scratch and sniff sticker on the front that when scratched smells like shit.

Sean lennon made an album bemoaning the loss of luv from Hollywood Hoodrat and Ms 2 o' clock slop bijou phillips. how funny is it that he fell in love with a tramp. dude move on. get a chick with a little more class. trust me i dont think youll have a hard time finding one.

So yes friday was my birthday and i had  a great time. just chilled at home with my honey and got some great gifts.  I got The Siouxsie and the Banshees box set, Dazed and Confused Criterion collection, RUN DMC Raising Hell cd, a book on Daniel Johnston, Nirvana LIVE TONIGHT SOLD OUT dvd,  Raging Bull 2 disc set. Great stuff indeed. I also treated myself recently and with some money i made from selling dvds on ebay i bought myself THIS IS SPINAL TAP Criterion. My out of print Criterion collection is pretty rad with such titles as SID AND NANCY, SILENCE OF THE LAMBS, ROBOCOP, HARD BOILED, DEAD RINGERS. Now all i really need is THE KILLER. Im not sure which one is my favorite but so far i REALLY LOVE the Daniel Johnston book. i didnt expect that one at all.

My girl also made me an awesome dinner with great pasta casserole, salad, and dessert. Mmmmmmmm.

Ive been watching Six Feet Under for the first time and really like it. My girlfriend rented it on netflix out of curiosity and so far its great.

I think im gonna see the Bond film CASINO ROYALE today. ive heard nothing but great things so far so im excited. Eva Green is hott! if you havent seen her do yrself the favor and watch THE DREAMERS nc-17 version. ooh la la.

Well i know that shit was super long but i havent been on in a while and i just wanted to let people know that im alive and well and just been busy.

so have you ever been so pissed off that you punched the wall and yr fist goes through? i have. in fact this has happened to me a lot during my life especially recently. I was so livid that some of my clothes were misplaced that i punched the wall in the hallway and made a hole. I know i have sturdy walls but i get so angry that i dont know my own strength.

I know enough not to punch walls made outta brick or other solid materials. i almost broke my hand a long time ago doing such a stupid thing.  When i was in high school i used to punch myself in the face just to see the blood pour outta my mouth. Yeah the next day my face would be sore but just seeing the sight of blood and the coppery taste in my mouth was somehow satisfying.  Some old habits are hard to break so i have to admit ive done it since my  high school days but not nearly to the degree i used to do it. (yes, i am a scorpio)

just wanted to get that off my chest. i guess you can say ive been self destructive my whole life.
