so... i played poker last night and won $200 in short order, so i left after like 30 minutes, which i normally don't like to do 'cause it's kind of a dick move to take all the money and run. But i'm fucking broke... I already spent the 200 and then some on law school apps. it was like 290 for 4 apps. oh well, i have them all sent it, so that's a big relief and weight off my shoulders. now it's just the waiting game to see who'll take me.

hopefully my tax return comes in soon, then i can pay off a credit card. or just spend the money, which is what i'll probably end up doing. not really any point in paying down any of my debt just yet, as law school will put me in such an insane amount of debt that nothing i owe right now will matter.

so some of my friends are out looking for a dead guy, most likely dead anyway. he's been missing for like 9 days on a snowmobile, and one of my friends vaguely knows him, and knows one pretty secluded spot where he likes to ride, so they went out to look for him...it's like 2 in the morning so i decided to just come home. It's dark out, and cold, and i doubt they'll find him. and we already called the cops to tell them we have a hunch this might be where he went. i wasn't up for a Stand By Me expedition in the winter.

i'm snowboarding tomorrow, then watching the munchkin so my lady can pick up an extra shift.
