so... I'm bored. work was relatively steady, but i was done at 11. then i went to play poker with some guys my cousin knows. played for basically 4 hours and won like $15...kinda not worth it, but it was somewhat fun. they only play with $0.10 and $.20  blinds, and my regular game is $.5 and $1, so it's a lot lower stakes, and most of the guys aren't very solid either, which can make it frustrating. all in all i guess it was more fun that coming home and going to sleep.

tomorrow (rather, later today, since it's 4 am) my brother and a friend are going camping overnight... like survivorman/Jermemiah Johnson camping. we are only bringing a lighter, gun, hatchet, knife, and a pot to boil water in....maybe a filter too, just to make sure the water is clean. The plan is to hike through the woods out by out cottage through the snow to a pond my brother found on google earth, should only be about a 2 mile hike, but the terrain is rough and the snow is pretty deep. then hopefully build a snowshelter/igloo/quinzee of some sort, then try to kill some foot. hopefully a rabbit or ruffed grouse, but we are prepared to settle for squirrel if necessary. i hope i don't die.

well, i should rest up, going to expend alot of energy over the next 36 hours or so.
