Finally Friday, Lots of Crap and Happy Stuff

I've been fighting with TransUnion, a credit beureau, to update my birthdate (they have the 21st, it's really the 27th) in my file so London Drugs can continue checking my background. I, too, don't have a clue why an employer would have to go through a credit beureau, but LD wasn't going to hire me until I was sure this little mix up was taken care of. I've fought with TransUnion all week about this issue. Finally today I gave up and told LD that I would have to bow out simply because I'm getting stonewalled by TransUnion. I can't get them to confirm that they've updated my file, they keep saying it'll take a month before I'll know. After talking to a few people at TransUnion and getting that same answwer I'm just not sure what else to do. And LD isn't helping much at all. After all the time they've taken with me so far you'd think they'd contact TransUnion themselves the first time I told them I'm getting no where. But like a rag doll they said, "Oh well" and did nothing. I've also been waiting for another employer to return my call. If I had remembered at a reasonable time today I would've called her again. I placed a call to her last Friday to inquire if the position she had interviewed me for had been filled. I've yet to hear a peep out of her. I don't really care, though, since I'd have to take out my piercings and I'm not comfortable doing that.Thursday was good. Out of the blue at quarter after 6 that night I got a call from a local insurance agency asking if I would mind coming in for an interview. Yippy! Of course I said that sounded wonderful. I had the interview today at 2pm. It went so swimmingly. We really got along well together. Cross your fingers, I'd really like this one ,o) Other than work, I've been updating my e-shop, House of Charnel. I posted all of the Arcane Nonesuch pendants I received. I've got more coming in though, so they'll be posted once I receive them. They're from Salem, MA and have some really fun Salem related items. I've also got suede necklaces in so many colors coming in soon that I'm going to pair with the pendants. Tomorrow I have to add the rest of the Pin Up Girl clothing I've got here, as well as the skeleton erasor sets, bracelets, and all of the used/'garage sale' stuff. And that's just the items I have to deal with. After that I'm going to be working on a logo banner. I want to make it so that it looks like it's a continuation of the "Vintage" that's already there. Whew! Looks like I've got my work cut out for me this weekend! OoOooooh.... fun happy news: I'm buying a gently used turquoise gucci handbag! Oh God it's gorgeous - I'm so in love with it +oD Gucci 1
