belated happy 420 everyone!
I've decided to learn German again. I have to accept that my life isn't going to come and get me while I wait patiently. I have to go get it and drag it to me kicking and screaming. So I'm beginning with German. I took German in school for 4 years and I loved it. I was pretty good at it. I left school and then didn't speak German again. 5 years later and I've forgotten how to speak the language. If you don't use it, you lose it.
Time to reclaim my skills!!!
(and possibly send love letters to Edda and Josepha)

I'm reading tons of different things right now. It feels good to be a little motivated again. I've got a long way to go but I'm definately making progress.
I've got tons and tons to do at the moment. I'm thriving on the stress. Money, paperwork, job hunt and friends with madness in their lives too. Sadly I can't say all my friends are being particularly good people right now. There is a lot of drama that should never have happened. I'm not getting involved, I've got BIGGER fish to fry. (I never really fry fish)
I had a really nice 420. I ate steak and it was so much tastier than usual because I was so much more high than I would usually be. anorexic girls should seriously just have a nicely rolled spliff and some tasty food. Okay so I know that's not so simple but w/e I'm not here to be PC today. I'm not here to be mac either. I am not a friend of mac. They ruined my life. I'm just a slut because I find macs aesthetically pleasing. I know that beneath that shiny exterior they're a load of bollocks though.
Well now I have to go and do loads of things in our much improved weather (thats right Scotland is fucking SUNNY)

I want to speak German so badly. It's true about not using a language and losing it. I can't speak french or spanish anymore. I'm back to being monolingual and sad. :-(
I once found an old box by the dumpster of a used record store that contained a "how to speak german" instructional on vinyl record from 1954. No one even wanted it for $2?!?! It was missing the translation booklet, but the records were all in flawless condition so my best friend and I put it on while we got drunk on wine and painted my apartment. We didn't learn German, but it was hilarious. I should mention that we also forgot to open the windows. OOPS!
Good luck with it. I hope it comes back like riding a bike.

You should learn German too and exchange love letters with me complete with atrocious grammar and spelling. Bad grammar is a particular talent of mine when speaking English too haha. I remember some German grammar though. Like TMP - time manner place
The vinyl sounds prtty epic, I hope you still have it. I'm glad you enjoyed inhaling paint fumes and listening to it.

Oh I absolutely still have it. I wouldn't get rid of a gem like that! There's a drawing of a dude in laderhosen on the cover haha!
