Thursday

My adventure began on Thursday. I woke up in the morning to discover that I was now 21 years old. This is a good start to the day as many of you already know. I woke up and sneaked into the livingroom where my boyfriend had left a present and a card for me:

Later on that evening I had to go for the mandatory family meal. It was lovely, I wish I had brought a camera so I could present you with the food porn I took so much delight in devouring. Ah well. I think my Nan enjoyed the meal the most, she had never been to a Chinese restaurant before and by the end of it she had mastered chop sticks. Excellent.

James and I got a taxi home after the meal so that we could drop off all the birthday treats I got. Then headed back into town to meet friends for drinks. We went to a pub called The Globe. I drank quite a lot there. It was really beautiful when Jared and Avery sang in to each others eyes when the karaoke was on.

I'm overwhelmed with emotion whenever I look at this.

Okay. After we left here things got messy. We successfully lost 3 of our party of 8 at the club we went to. The club is called Opium and that sort of thing is to be expected there. The 3 drop outs.......Euan, was too drunk to go on. Rosie, almost vomited and had to go home to wretch a little longer. Avery got kicked out for throwing Dug's shoe into the DJ booth during a mosh pit.

I went to another club after this where someone called Shitmat was playing. The first half of his name says it all. I've seen him play once before and he was bad then. Last time he was wearing just boxers, no trousers and using a telephone to select winamp tunes. bah...

Friday

Smokes and more smokes. Cherry wine.

Eventually I turned up to Mutiny. Mutiny is one of the few worthwhile clubs in Edinburgh.

Saturday

This was the day I discovered how good my first birthday present was. I drank too hahaha.

My friend Charlotte passed out on me a few times and by the time I got her to admit she was too tired to go out it was pretty much too late for metal madness. Maybe I'll make it there next week.

Sunday

Charlotte and I woke up and eventually met up with our friend Dima. There are various adventures that happened in the morning/afternoon that I'm too fucking tired to write about but it was all fucking awesome. I'm sure you would have loved it.

We went on our way to outdoor madness.

This is the part where I warn you that we're not afraid to get dirty. Expect some mud.

After the party:

I was enjoying a milkshake.
