I finally got through with jury duty, it was almost three weeks long and was not as bad of an experience as i thought it would be, but then again maybe because it was because i was getting full pay the whole time. not to mention we were there for about 5 hours a day which let me sleep in and stay up late. The case had to do with releasing someone from a state mental hospital, after several days of deliberation we decided to let him walk, when the court clerk announced the verdict the public defender acted like he won the lotto, his face lit up like a kid at Christmas, the ADA just rolled her eyes at us.



i went down to san diego for thanks giving, it was nothing that special but i did meet the coolest little dog i have ever met, and i am not a big fan of small dogs.



her name is Coco and she slept on my lap while we watched football.

last night i made my signature oatmeal cookies for jury duty and pretty much everyone was blown away with how good they were, i was quite pleased with myself

Friday I bought a new laptop from dell and saved a buttload of money on it and aparently i am a bad influence because Cheryl(cherdotexe) bought one because of me too.

Its back to work tomorrow, yuck. no more sleeping in and being a slacker, i'm gonna be so lazy the rest of the week.

So i was driving down the street and i look up and see a bike cop with a radar gun pointed right at me under a sign that reads speed limit 30 MPH, i look down and see i'm doing 40 MPH, so i hit the breaks and start to slow down. as i go past the cop i see him put away the radar gun and start his bike. at this moment i almost had a minor infarction and this scene flashed into my head.




For a brief moment i thought about making him chase me then i came to my senses i pulled into a gas station and he turned on his lights and sirens, but then a moment of great relief, he was stopping the car behind me. In all my life i have never gotten a speeding ticket or been in an accident and that is amazing because i drive like a bat out of hell.
