Everytime i do yoga it reminds me why i do it and how much i love it. Ive only been doing yoga for four months now but such an important part of my routine. Im finally getting flexible again which i have not been in years. I used to be flexible as a kid and into my early teens because my mom & step dad made my brother and me take martial arts. We had to take Jujitsu & tang soo do (karate & kung fu). If any of you have never tried yoga i highly recommend it! You get this amazing high after each workout that is incredible. Not to mention it really strengthens your entire body and takes the risk away from normal injury you may occur doing normal things. Anybody else do yoga on here or try it at least?
Namaste!

Ive never tried bikram but one day i will just to say ive done it. i do my yoga from home every week, i dont take classes or anything. ive been doing this workout (P90X) and it implements yoga into your routine so thats the reason for me doing it. Prior to this routine ive done yoga a few times but nothing like the one from this P90X. Its a really good one that covers alot of things that are not too hard for people just getting into it. There are some advanced moves in there as well that took me awhile to get the hang of too. You do it daily ?

Sounds interesting, I'll have to check out this P90X routine. I'm trying to get back into the swing of doing it every day but midterms just happened and I'm having a hard time balancing school with a real life for some reason. It's as if school consumes me or the complete opposite. So hopefully with a bit of fortitude and more discipline I can get back into a good habit.

The P90X itself is completely ridiculous. Its a 6 day per week (3 months straight) workout routine from home but its not as easy as it sounds. Its basically a bootcamp that was created from home. I just started a second round of it and im almost thru my first month. I think two rounds of it should be enough which would basically be 6 months straight i did this routine. I know what you mean with balance and getting on track. Just takes a few times of doing it and actually being into it enough to keep it going consistently.

I took beginning Hatha yoga to meet my general education requirements for the degree I'm working on.
I loved it. Even just the breathing techniques I learned have helped me so much (particularly at the dentist, instead of having to get the laughing gas, I just took deep breaths and shit...so weird, haha.)
I want to get back into it, as it was only a 4 or 5 month class, 2 days a week. My goal was to take yoga for strength, and do cardio stuff at home so I could work my way up to kick boxing....but I've fallen off the work out wagon, terribly unmotivated lately.
I'm glad you're enjoying it :D

totally know what you mean, yoga truly helps in more ways than one. everybody should get on it!
you just gotta catch your wind. once you find it theres no stopping you. its very very easy to fall off but youll get back on it.

An associate's degree in mortuary science.
I miss being so relaxed, but can't remember the little routine.
I remember the Sun Salutation thing but that's about it haha :[

wow so you want to be a mortician?
yes we do the sun salutations right in the beginning. a nice warm up exercise that works every time.

Yea...well, an embalmer really. I'm excited to go back to school, whenever that might be, haha.
We would do them at the end, before meditation.
I miss the meditation too...I still use it sometimes when I'm trying to calm down for sleep...works most of the time :]

I use to do bikram yoga. Oh how refreshed and enlightened I would feel after my 90 minute meditation. Sadly I'm broke so I just do morning/daily routines at my house. I also enjoy it too! What kind of routine do you have?
