So my tattoo artist's sister has been really sick lately and he's been flying out of town a lot which has really fucked his appt. lineup.

I am set to fully complete my ribs the first week of may. Appt. booked, flights booked. Now I just need to find a ride to and from the airport and a place to crash for the night. Anyone in San Jose, CA want to throw me some love?? He's back in town tomorrow though, so when I get in touch with him again he might be able to help me with a couple of those. (he's an old friend of mine).

Anyway, this delays my application to GG a bit. I should be applying when that is finished in about 2.5 months. That actually seems like a horribly long wait for me, but that's okay. I am strong-willed.

While I don't consider myself a perfectionist, I do believe in doing things right. It's hard to explain, but with my tattoo in its unfortunate state of incompletion, I feel incomplete mentally, because my tattoo work is an important part of my life. There's a feeling of completeness in mind and body that I require before I think I'm in the state of mind to be a fully participanting GG. I don't half-ass anything in my life, and GG would be not exception.

I really love this site, and I appreciate the fact that they take personality and state of mind in life into account in regards to their applicants. To show my appreciation for this, I will not personally apply until I personally feel that I have reached that desired state of mind.

my modem was sending really funky signals for a while, making my interweb horribly slow. I just got my modem switched out and can finally view porn again at the speed it was truely intended. i'm probably only posting about this because i can without losing precious minutes of my life.

in other news, i watched a really facinating NOVA program on the minds of apes, which summerized many anthropological and psychological studies on the cognition of different species of apes. Some of it wasn't that surprising, but watching some of their problem solving behaviors and their use of weapons was really fascinating on an evolutionary level.

I learned recently that the reason you wear a wedding ring on your left "ring" finger is because that finger contains a vein connected directly to the heart. i did not know that before. it might just be a myth, but a nice thought anyway.

Unfortunately now, I have to study for midterms.

i'm getting married on saturday on my 7 year anniversary. we're being married on the beach by a total heathen and our official witnesses are a lesbian couple. i love my life. <3

i'm staying at a sweet hotel w/ an oceanfront jacuzzi tub. i'll have my man take some fun nekkid pics for you guys. (of me, not him of course)

i'm really itching to apply here. it's not one of those things i want to rush; this is a good chance for me to exercise my patience.

i decided to get my incomplete tattoo a little further along before sending in pics, because really, despite the fact that i am fully aware that it's not the tattoos that make the models here beautiful, it just seems unprofessional of me to send in shots when my work is so very unfinished. the prob is that i'm in portland, and my artist is in san jose, so to get the work done, i've got to afford the plane ticket too.

i'm really poor at the moment. c'mon tax refund! *cries*

i want to get naked with so many of these beautiful women. that's right ladies, you know who you are. ;)

i just started my second to last term of college. it's hard to believe i only have 6 months to go.

i think i've finally decided what the fuck to do:

a. consolidate loans
b. take year off for reflection, rest, and a slightly better job.
c. use that year to put together the best damn grad school application possible
d. get into pacific university's clinical psychology doctoral program
e. focus on neuropsychology
f. begin to specialize in sex therapy
g. open private practice as a sex therapist.
h. write a book or three, sell out, and quit my practice.

not really sure about the last one. we'll see how this all goes. ask me in about 6 years.

ok, so it's been a pretty sweet couple of days. 2 nights ago i got to have girl-girl sex for the first time in years. i so love that my bf is cool with letting me fuck chicks. vagina is awesome.

Trey Gunn & Pat Mastelotto from King Crimson and apparently now Tu (a project I had not heard about before) made an appearance before the show and during lateralus. i feel blessed to have seen that. i didn't check the band website before going to the show, so it came as a total surprise.

the whole thing was perfect and beautiful. adam's visuals were nothing short of breathtaking.

now i'm off to my last final of the term. Public health: human sexuality. no problem, then i'm done for a few weeks. :)
