- Any Yeah Yeah Yeahs fans in the house?  I listened to their latest album and I'm not quite sure what to think.  It's way different from their previous albums.  The first two tracks had a dancy, techno feel to them which kinda threw me off.  What turned me on to the YYYs was the screeching antics of the lovely Karen O and the great guitar sound.  I'll keep listening, maybe it'll grow on me.  I do highly recommend the "Tell Me What Rockers To Swallow" DVD.  There's some great shows on it and Karen O is at her freaky best.  It really makes me regret the fact that I haven't had a chance to see them live.  I'm sure they'll be touring soon with the new album and all so I'll have to make the trek to San Francisco to see them.

- Speaking of highly recommended DVDs, we watched "Let The Right One In" yesterday.  I think I can safely say it was the best Swedish vampire flick I have seen.  Hell it was one of the best vampire flicks I have seen period.  The two kids that played the main characters were fantastic.  My wife says the book was great as well.

- So I totally got hosed by Billy Mays.  I bought the Big City Slider Station.  It worked decently enough, but it left a bunch of silver nonstick crap on the burgers.  Fucking disgusting!  We threw the burgers and the Slider Station out and hit the IHOP.  My favorite four words of the English language have got to be "Breakfast Served All Day".  So if any of you happen to see Billy Mays out on the street, kick square him in the nuts.

- Ok, so are there any "Breaking Bad" fans in the house?  That has to be the best show on TV.  This will probably be the only time that I will root for a meth cooker.  If you only know Bryan Cranston as the dad on "Malcolm In The Middle" and the doctor that switched to Judaism just for the jokes on "Seinfeld", prepare to have your mind blown.  He totally deserved the Emmy for Best Actor in a Drama.
