Im gonna be spending close to 2 weeks up in Detroit to visit family and get blitzed.... and GG up there or in the general area.  I need to take my brother out and was wondering if any of ya bartended in Detroit or across the border to Canada.  He use to always goto Canada for the bars (and stripbars lol).  Or if anyone knows of any decent bars or places to see live rock/metal/punk shows.

Also one of his friends is in Slipknot, one of my favorite bands and am hoping to meet him also lol.  Anyways let me know if any of ya work the bars or just want to get blitzed.  No worries Im buying.

I got my finalized divorce papers in the mail (happy happy joy joy)... and the Red Wings have cinched the #1 record in the NHL... and I should recieve my 2nd bonus check tomorrow...

...so its time to celebrate...  Im thinking about going down to New Orleans this weekend... Anyone know any rock bars down there.  Id go out in Lafayette but I dont like dance/hip hop bars and thats about all they have here.  Maybe live rock/metal/punk bands... or even a lil bar with pool tables and a juke box?

Anyways if you have any advice let me know... and if you want me to pick you up for the weekend on my way down (from Lafayette) let me know here... or in a PM.  Gonna probably stay a few days but Im sure the hotel has doubles.

Well its Wed nite and I just got the new Halloween on dvd.  Gonna watch it before I head to bed and drink a few beers also.

I have gotten a interesting job offer... a bartending gig in town here.  Id hate to leave my current job... but the stress is taking its toll on me lol.  Every day... every phone call could be a notice of a gas line or phone line I missed marked... and well that aint good lol.

So should I leave a good job... I have a company truck... and get some benifits...  Well for a bartending oppertunity where Im in charge of the bar... probably make more then the other job.. with alot less hours... oh and now that Im single I can reap the best benifit of working in a bar.. something I was never able to do in my previous 8 years lol.

Hmmmm.... lifes sucking atm... where to begin...

Well Ive been in the bar business or at least nite jobs for the last 10 years.  I recently got a (state)job thats a morning job.  Its cool and I have my own company truck I park at home.  Im making good money... and can work as much overtime as I want.

So after work... I pretty much just sit at home and watch tv... or play EQ.

But recently EQs been sucking becuause I am have a dispute with a few things that have gone on in the guild recently.  So I have retired my warrior... and will probably retire my cleric from raiding...  Right now I log onto EQ and just sit in my guild hall not doing anything...

My sociel life is in the toilet atm.  Pretty much I like hard music... not the gay shit they play on the radio... even most of the music on headbangers ball sucks...  So in Lafayette theres pretty much no where to go listen to bands.  The Renn is the only place but they are mainly a dance bar and when they do have bands... the crowd is dead.  So I sit at home lol...

My buddy Adam wants me to move in with him... we recently found a 3 bedroom/2bath house for a grand... so Im thinking about it.  He has also been thinking about moving to Houstan... because his job would be alot better in a city that has more Live Music venu's....  I could probably transfer... but Im kind of happy where my job is atm...

He asked me whats keeping me in Lafayette... and I had no answer...

Anyways I might head to New Orleans for the 4 day weekend... get trashed... Ive never really gotten fucked up... besides drinking... maybe Ill try something new...  Maybe Ill drive my company truck down there... that would be funny...
