just got back from seeing "blindness". i have to say it's one of my favorite movies of the year. it was disturbing at some points, but i feel they were put in to express the severity of the story. performances were good throughout the whole movie. I am interested in reading the book now

until i leave for tokyo. it's really coming up fast, not quick enough if you ask me. i have been spending time on the good ole interweb looking up places and stuff to do while i am in japan. for those new to this trip, i am planning on doing a "Lost in Translation" reality tour, so i am trying to visit and do some of the things that they do in the movie. the big one for me, is at going to eat at the restaurant/bar where most of the movie takes place, on my bday. so that should be cool. other than that, i am going to visit kyoto via the bullet train, a cat cafe (cafe that has like 20 cats living in the building, cause i am sure i will miss the "kids" when i am gone), a possible trip to tokyo disney, and some other places. i plan on taking tons of pics, and i am looking into buying a camcorder before i leave, so be prepared to sit through hours and hours of videos, i'm kidding, maybe? for those that feel the need to send me gifts for my bday, all i ask for
is money this year, more spending money is always good on a long trip. i am going to bring my new computer along on the trip, just so i can fill it up with videos and pics, so i am not sure if i will be sending out any updates while i am out there. but depending on what i find out from AT&T, i will be posting on twitter a lot!! for those with interweb, be sure and add www.twitter.com/seandps to follow my travels, and while you are there, sign up and join in the twitter fun.

speaking of twitter fun, it sounds like me and a few of my twitter friends, are in planning to start our very own podcast. we have been chatting on stickam pretty much every night and we are in the planning stages of this. it's gonna be based around tech stuff, which i know a little about, but i think it will be mostly whatever we kind of come up with as we record it. i will let you know more details as they are finalized. but it is going to fun. internet stardom, here i come.

my parents came up to visit on sunday, took out them dinner at IPIC and then we went to see "burn after reading". i thought it was ok, some fun parts, but nothing special.brad pitt was funny. i have a big week of movies planned next week, i am going to see blindness, how to lose friends and alienate people, and nick and norah's playlist. i am going to see them at IPIC, so it will be free. so if they suck, i won't feel so bad. looking forward to zach and miri coming up at the end of the month, it's gonna be a good halloween night for me.

let's see what else, in World of Warcraft news (for those that care), Mini, my main character hit level 60, right now(until nov 13th) 70 is the highest level. and Swin, one of my other characters, hit level 30 and just got her first mount, a tiger. haven't had much time to play lately due to work and stuff, which is fine, it's nice to take a break once in awhile.

i think that is about it, it's a busy week for me at work, working a lot, which is good. i hope all is well with you in your part of the world.

oh yeah i am going to be an uncle yet again, Marshall and Erika are having another baby, a boy this time. and being the good uncle i am, i forgot about when the baby is due. sorry

and scarlett is fine, everything checked out ok, must have been something she ate. have to take her in for some dental cleaning stuff in a few weeks

well it has been awhile, so i figure an update is do. well work is work, keeping myself busy with both jobs. i am counting down days till my trip to japan in november. i have been plotting a few places i am going to try and check out in advance, just so i can kind of plan my week there. i have been getting some ideas and advice from various places, which helps. so if you are one of those people, thanks.

i had to take scarlett to the vet the other day, she has been pooping in the living room and the poop was odd looking (for poop) and smelled really bad (worse than normal). it is the second time this has happpend, so i figured to be on the safe side i would take her in. what an adventure that was, she was chatting the whole way to the vet and then to make things worse, they had to take her temp using the not so normal place (pooper) and then to top it off, a rectal exam. i am sure i wasn't here favorite person in the world. i had to take a sample of her poop to get analyzed. found out today, it came back negative, which is good. so i just have to feed her this bland cat food for awhile, and sprinkle this stuff on it (the cat equivelant of what is in that yogurt that most people eat) and then i have to give her medicine, every 12 hours, which is a chore in its self. but a few more days and she should be done with that. i will have to take her in for some dental cleaning in a few weeks. seth is doing well, gene turned off the ceiling fan in the living room, so now he is running all over the place. yes that is right, seth is afraid of the ceiling fan, i have crazy cats i know.

haven't really seen anything lately movie wise, i went and saw hamlet 2, which was funny. i am going to try and get around to seeing burn after reading in the next week or so. kind of looking forward to seeing eagle eye next week. i may be going with a movie group to see that . the big movie for me coming up is "zach and miri make a porno", the new kevin smith film. we got a trailer of it playing before my best friend's girl, here at the theatre, so i have been popping in and checking it out every once in awhile.

no concerts coming up, i may go see alanis in milwaukee in a couple weeks. i am still undecided about it.

football: my fantasy teams are doing ok, and my rams are not. it's going to be a very long season.

cheese days: i was supposed to head home this weekend for cheese days, but i think due to scarlett, i am going to stay in milwaukee instead. i don't need to make gene try and give scarlett her medicine. so i guess i can get caught up on some stuff at home and maybe head to matty's on sunday to watch the rams game on TV. who knows, i have been going back and forth all night, i may try and head back still, just for the parade and cookout at Brian and Amy's house.

well i think that pretty much wraps things up for me, i am at work right now, i think i may try and order some food and start reading the harry potter 4th book again, i still haven't finished it yet. so i think i am going to give it another go.

so on Nov. 13th, the dreaded WOW flu is going to hit, to coincide with the release of the Wrath of the Lich King. i know it is going to be a 24-48 flu, so there is no need to worry. we will be back and somewhat productive in a few days following. Good news, it is coming out a few days before i leave for my vacation in japan. so i get to play it a bit before i leave.

september 22, is the day for when they open the drawing for getting into the red carpet area(bleachers) at the oscars. I was out in cali a few years ago and almost made it into the red carpet area, missed it by one group. oh well i did get the experience of sleeping on the sidewalk in downtown LA. but then 9/11 happened and they switched it to a random drawing. i still haven't given up, one of these times, i will make it. so after noon on the 22nd, i will have my fingers crossed and will be waiting for a good email response

so this past weekend, we had our fedex golf outing in milwaukee. my dad and grandpa came up, and adam, one of my fellow co-workers, rounded out our four-some. adam and I, were on one team, and my dad and grandpa on the other. the funny thing about my team, i have a wicked slice and adam has a hook to his shot, so we were all over the place. we also hit every tree on the course, but the good thing, we were dropping some major long putts, adam won some money for longest put on one of the holes. overall, it was a fun day, i may try and get out once more before the weather gets cold.

other than that, first full weekend of football, my rams lost, well 38-3 really isn't a loss, more like a butt kicking. but at least i have a chance to pull out a few wins this week in my fantasy leagues, depending on the two monday night games tonight.

other than that, not much else new here, just keeping busy with work and stuff. hope all is well with everyone else. have a good week
