Bitch Slapping

How come in Movies, and on TV shows do they always have someone bitch slapping another. Really, has anyone ever seen that happen in real life. I know that I have not, I have heard a lot of people say that they are going to do it, but I have never seen it happen.
On a different note, I had 2 interviews today, both went really good. I really want one of the jobs over the other, more of an office job with travel throughout the Nashville area. So everyone cross your fingers for me!!!
