Locked out!!

listening to:The Air!!!!
So today I was going to go to town to go job hunting, but that all got trown for a loop before I was even able to get ready to go. Here's the story:
I was about to go down the the basement, where all of my clothes are (I will be living there in a few weeks), but I thought that I would go out and make sure that my car did not need to have the snow cleared off again. So I threw on my fleece jacket and my slip-on new balance shoes and headed out in my PJ's. I walked over to where I could see my car and saw that all was good with that. Then I walked back to the door to go back in and what the hell do I find out, but the door was locked (these doors are setup so that you can go out without unlocking the door, so if you don't unlock it, and if you don't have the key to get back in, guess what!!! YOU ARE LOCKED OUT!!!!! So here I am in my PJs, Fleece Jacket, and Slip-on Shoes (no socks), standing outside in the under 30 degree windy weather, without my keys, or my phone. So I quickly walk around the house looking for a door that might be unlocked (no luck), then look at all the windows (no luck). So I try and break in (no luck). So I just sit on the deck in the sun (to stay warm) but I am getting killed by the wind. I mean I could go to the other car that was unlocked and get in, but it is in the shade (so it is colder). So I sit there until the sun goes behind the clouds, then it got chilly. So I deceided to go and stand in fron of the wood furnace that we have. The only problem with this plan is that it is about 2 foot off the ground, so my hips up to my head stays warm, but my feet stay cold and get colder (I thought I was going to get frostbite). So I stood there for 5 hours until my family finally showed back up for me to get into the house, to which I walked straight to my room, and got into a warm shower.
Now I know what a bunch of yall are thinking, why did he not just go to the neighbors house to stay there and stay warm until someone came home. That would be a good plan, but the nearest neighbor is about 2 miles away. This is what I get for moving into the mountains. Anyways, I guess I learned my lesson the hard way. I don't think that I will ever walk out the door again without my keys in my hand, or atleast more clothes on.
I am now off to bed to try and get warmer and stay warm. Until next time folks!!!!
