Christmas and New Years posted : 01/10/09 at 11:04am pst

On Christmas eve the Mister and I made a Gingerbread castle and some cookies. It was fun. We didn't eat the castle though. We took it to our friend's house and she kept it because she thought it was the most amazing thing ever and she thought her kids would play with it. So we left the castle there.

And from the Mister got me a Colorado Avalanche puck signed by our goalie, Peter Budaj! Super amazing boy

For new years the mister and I went to the Flogging Molly concert and got wasted. It was sweet. We met this awesome old punk rocker dude with  a kilt and maxing the Guinness (we were poor so we had miller). I got my picture with him.

Later in the evening I got a chance to dance with him. It rocked socks.

And then the drunk boy and I found some hats. We were walking to the lightrail station and I found one of those "Happy New Year" glittery hats so I put that on and the mister found a c-cup so we tied that on his head. Here's us in front of the Denver Newspaper Agency (we used to be paper boys. I did the job for almost 4 years he did it for almost 3) so we had to be dorks in front of our old jobs headquarters.

Evidence of our hats shown below:

So to be nice to me the mister took me to the museum to see the dinosaur exhibit on the last day it was in town. It was seriously the coolest thing I've ever seen. I couldn't take pictures of it though. They didn't allow flash photography and, well my $98 camera doesn't do that fantastic of a job without flash so suck to that. But I took a picture with the dinosaur I got while we were in vegas. His name is Fuzzy Widget.

Oh yeah and I changed my hair color again.

One of the highlights of the day was definitely getting to make a plaster Utah Raptor Claw. I was the only kid above 8 that stirred the plaster. It was cool. I got to take one home with me. It was free.

So those are my wicked awesome adventures.

OMG I am so jealous of your puck signed by Budaj that is so cool!

I think my mister is saving up to get me an Avalanche hoodie but I'm not sure. It could be just wishful thinking.

I can't see your pictures they say members only : (

You should make cookies shaped like raptor claws. That would be fun I think
