If I plan on moving..where should I go?

My best friend of 13 years, his wife and lil girl live in Texas and a number of my cousins live in Cali. I talked to my friend in Texas and apartments are cheap over there compared to Cali.

my 1 bedroom is 730 sq feet and we're paying 659/mo

its generally a dollar per sq foot for alright ones, unless you live IN dallas, then it gets steeper for sure
