For Halloween I just had some friends over to hang out and drink, nothing fancy. I had gone to a party the night before complete with a rather large gentleman dressed up as the Kool-Aid man and a midget dressed up like Jigsaw from SAW (only could have been creepier if he was riding a tricycle). I didn't even dress up ON Halloween, so I threw on my Ghostbusters shirt and prayed that Bill Murray would show up to drink some beer with me. Didn't happen. But I did snap a few pictures in the process:

In other news, I finally got a job. It's not the greatest in the world but I am basically a part-time manager at GAP. I didn't want to go back to retail, but these days I can't be picky. Something better will open up eventually, until then I will embrace a nice discount (I need some fucking jeans STAT) and amp up my customer service skills. So today I have to wait around for a phone interview with the district manager. Hope she doesn't call while I am working out, that would priove awkward with the heaving breathing and all...
Also thinking of finishing my sleeve this Christmas. Probably going to add Aries and Icarus to it. So I guess we will see.
I am also somewhat of a literary slut junky (liked that one didn't ya?), so I picked up the new Chuck Klosterman (one of my fave writers) this week and snagged a first edition. My brain is appeased for the time being:
Also, a magazine just informed me that there is a 'The Office' special edition of CLUE. Dear God, that is beautiful.

Hope everyone had a great Halloween weekend, and if you didn't lets get fucking drunk together and set off some fireworks wearing cowboy hats. Also, if you are depressed/sad/upset just think about someone sneezing and farting at the same time. That always works for me.

GOD that is sooo awesome! I wish I had a Bill Murray story. The Klosterman is typical fare so far. Discussions on Nirvana, The Waco Incident, ABBA, Football, Time travel, etc. He is always an interesting read.

i just love his stuff because, for me at least, they're pretty quick reads. i get bored so fast that i need a book i can really power through.
and yes, Bill Murray is a lush and it's awesome.

Yeah I started reading it two days ago and I am almost done, granted its only like 250 something pages or so, but I think I'll read another of his books 'Fargo Rock City', next.

Aries and Icarus would be awesome. Or perhaps Apollo and Icarus since one effected the other? Either way, excited to see it's outcome! I'm glad you landed a spot at GAP even though you may not enjoy it now, at least it is something. You look adorable. I love your newcoming beard.

Thanks darling, but the beard isn't newcoming, I actually trimmed it down for my Halloween costume. :) Aaaaaand I was actually thinking about Apollo and Icarus, but my sleeve is black greys and red, and Apollo I would want to be goldish and such. Maybe though!

Actually, the drunk bum is not my girlfriend, but her roommate. She's the one in the blurry picture, and in the part 1 festivities post. :-D

let me know how the book is. i love his work.
and one time Bill Murray showed up at a bar some of my girlfriends and i were at. i guess they had just finished up on a movie and went out to celebrate. he was shitfaced. we ended up grinding on his and tried our best to get pictures, but he was at least aware enough to cover his face. later that week, i was talking to one of my clients, Sally, about the whole thing. she is a dresser for movies, and her brother is married to Sabrina the Teenage Witch. Sally started laughing and told me that Bill is a very close family friend of hers and that she's not surprised by his drunkness at all. apparently every time he comes over for family dinner, he gets wasted and tries to get Sally's mom to fuck him. oh Bill Murray, what would the world be without you?
