Last night was the Incura show. It slayed me. INCREDIBLE.

So basically, Kyle (lead singer) and I have been talking back and forth on myspace/facebook for a few months now. They're hometown boys who moved out to Vancouver to make it big and are doing incredible and just.. amazing. Anyway, we've been talking and all, and I've been supporting and promoting them a lot because I believe in this band so fucking much. Anyway.

Last night, we get to the venue. It's The Moose Hall, which is essentially a teeny little venue. One room, tininess. The stage is only about 8 inches off the floor, so it's a really little, intimate experience. Tamara and I are hanging around and all and we see Incura walk in. I gasped, legit, and was like "It's Kyle!" But I waited to talk to him, let him go put his things at his merch booth and all. After about 10 minutes I went over and was like, "Hey Kyle."

Kyle turns, looks at me and his face goes :D :D :D and he grabbed me before I could say another word, hugs me so tight and was like "Eastyn! I am so glad you're here! You came! I can't believe you're here, I am SO HAPPY you're here! I was just telling the guys that I hoped you were here and here you are! Ahh!" It was adorable and he was all cute. The only words to describe Kyle are "little" and "dainty". He's tallish, but he's just... little and dainty and lovely.

Anyway. Let him do his thing. Watched the opening bands, Jesse and the Dandelions. They were so much fun and so adorable. I really liked them.

Next were Eyes of Isis. They're great. High school students (who go to my old high school) who just released their first album and are currently shopping it around to labels.

And then! My beloved Incura. I was front and center. The stage is only 8 inches off the ground so the whole time, really, Kyle was in my face. He's an INCREDIBLE performer. He's amazing. He oozes performance. A few times he got right in my face with his mic and got me to sing/scream with him. Though I have no use for it, I can belt out a fucking br00t4l hardcore scream and he was like FUCK YEAH! lmao.

They played all of my favourite songs and I rocked out so fucking hard. I have never rocked that hard at a show ever. It was incredible!

After the show, Incura headed back to their merch booth. I bought their new album (as I have their other two). It was $10 and I paid with a $20, and just asked for $5 back. Their merch girl was like 'what, no, take the first album too then!' and I was like, no, I have it. I know they're going on tour after Saturday and any bit of cash helps. So yeah!

Went up to Kyle for him to sign my CD. He was like EASTYN! All over again and was hugging me - we were both all sweaty and gross. Lmao. He signs it, we take a picture, and he was like, "I really can't wait to see you again!" Buh <3

Next we went to Gatlin, lead guitarist, and got him to sign my cd, took some pictures, and chatted. He's hilarious and super wonderful. I love him.
