So i have an interview in tomorrow afternoon for a promotion at the Science Factory.   Basically instead of editing Journals like i do now ill be editing Scientific patents.  the promotion comes with a bunch of perks like french maids, and happy endings...okay i made that up, but ill get a good bit of a raise plus a ton of vacation and personal time and 401k's and killer insurance and a desk with a window and a pet dragon.  fingers, toeses, shoelaces and bones crossed:)

Last Saturday i ran into the girl i've have fallen the hardest for in my life.  I nicknamed her Violet because she always dyed her hair purple in high school, but the nickname really wasnt about the hair; it was the drip line of dye that stained the channel of her spine.  i sat behind her in ecology class and she would lean on her desk and i couldn't help but noticed that the faint line of violet dye would disappear down her...well i think you get the idea.   She was always sweet as pie to me which is weird cuz she was always kind of a tough girl, but she and i got along really well.  We never dated; i asked her out once but she was dating another guy by the time i got up the nerve. I adored her so much.   After graduation we stayed friends, but still kind of drifted apart.  Like i said i ran into her at the HIV on saturday.  it was the first time id seen her in 3 years.   she hugged me, we chatted about stuff, she mentioned that she had just gotten out of a long long relationship and kept putting her hand on my arm.  at the end of it i asked her to hang out sometime, coffee or tea or something noncommital.  she gave me her number and hopefully soon we will get together for old timey shenanigans.  the rest of the night i had a permagrin chiseled on my face; i mean the dimples on my cheeks actually hurt because i was grinning like an idiot.  hehehe oh man, Violet you still make me all topsy turvy in the most splendiferous way possible.
