When I know it shouldn't.
A guy who I used to be friends with a few years back sends me this random message on myspace:
Subject:
Michael...
Body:
how the fuck many myspaces do you have? god damn you're gay
Which caught me off gaurd, so I go and respond:
I am gay because I don't have access to my other one?
Nice logic.
And he never said anything.
But it really bothered me for some reason, so I sent him a message again.
Mikey: Was it really necessary to message me about how many myspace profiles I have?
I know you have had a few yourself.
It was pretty damn rude, I must say.
Other guy: Obviously I felt I was.
Me: Did you get a feeling of accomplishment from it?
That was literally a minute after he sent me the message, I was online at the time so:
Other Guy: it took you one minute to reply to that? wow get a life dude
and trust me, my goal was not accomplishment
Me: What was your goal then?
You say that you are mature, sincere and kind...
I didn't get anything in that message that you sent.
Yeah, it took me one minute. I am sitting on my ass, on my computer. I got your message and replied.
Other Guy: My goal was that you'd do some fucking self analysis. When we were friends I put a lot of energy into trying to get you to understand and I'd hoped if I looked at your page I'd go "wow, michael isn't a 21 year old little boy anymore", but hey you're happy with that so you probably have nothing to worry about then.
Then he goes and blocks me.
This really shouldn't be bothering me. It's been a week...
But fuck, this hasn't left me.

MySpace has caused people to not talk to eachother face to face. If this guy had a problem, he could have called me, or even showed up at my house to say shit to me...

myspace has been the center of too many different "dramatic' situations in my life. it's so ruthless. in the end, i've just chocked it all up to a big FUCK YOU to myspace, and to all the idiots stirring the pot over social networking sites. its not worth it. you are better than that mikey, you have a kind heart and you can just forget about someone that talks to you like that. yuck.

I would like to say FUCK YOU myspace, but I admit, I am addicted to the site. Well, more like I rely on it to keep in contact with certain people.
It is rediculous how rude and fake people are on there though. I wish this guy would have said that crap to me to my face, and not on myspace, it was really childish. It's like breaking up with someone through a text message... Stupid! Cowardly.

How extremely childish - the fact that anyone still uses "gay" as an insult tells volumes about their maturity and mental capabilities (meaning both would be almost non existent).
