unfortunately you can't return software back to the store. You can go online and get AVG Antivirus 8.5 That works just as good as Norton, plus it's free. Anitvirus software is all personal preference. Enable your Windows Firewall in the meantime and get AVG

Oh, yeah, I was just simply going to throw the cd at them and leave, not necessarily return lol.

But I will look into that, and I've always used norton so that's why I'm trying to figure out this thing that I just bought. :/

Yeah, at least 5 times. I've read that it might be that there's still another version of norton on my computer and that's why it's all wacked out, but I searched through everything multiple times and I've completely wiped out any trace of any other norton, which is why I'm so frustrated. :(

Oh well, I'll keep trying, I'm way too stubborn.

try to go to your registry editor and take out the registry key for Norton and re-install it
