life is moving too fast this year--so much has happened, and so much more is headed my way. the house burning down drama and all the insurance money collection shit that goes along with it... is it seriously march? what happened to the first two months of the year? most of february was eaten up by spending time at the silverlake lounge, aka the wahh-mbulance base station. i think annaliese and i agree on the fact that we are both probably too smart/awesome/pretty/not insane (enough) to be exerting that kind of energy into AVOIDING adventures. there's the adventures you have, and the adventures that have you. the latter catagory tends to be dangerous.
march is a month for two things: the hottest godsgirl tournament and materialism. you can focus on the first option by checking out our forums, i will focus on the second one with photos and brief explanations.
oddly enough i've come back into contact with a dude i was dating while i still lived in denver. he's a self-described art fag, and all around /b/tard. once upon a time i was very sad so he painted this in a construction site by his house and sent me this photo:

that's cute, right? we lost touch after i moved, but apparently he is accountable for the domokitty. he also named his motorcycle after me... and then painted it. so this painting is called "julene" and i'm not even in it--refreshing. that background is hand-painted by the way. it's amazing how much he's developed as an artist in the past year.

some third-party ebay seller tried to scam me out of $50 for my 3 packs of polaroid film that never arrived. enraged after waiting over a week past when it supposedly arrived in california, i demanded a refund. i got my $50 returned to my account the same day a slightly abused box with my goods arrived at my house. that's probably some kind of bad karma to not call them and say it showed up after all... but i don't believe in karma, so i'm safe.

do you know who i met this morning? i'll give you a hint...

i saw her in her PJ's--they have a hole in the crotch. i didn't say it at the time, but it seems appropriate for the newfrenz raping that's going to go down. listen, you show up at my house with a well-applied smokey eye look and that's what will happen to you. (that offer only applies to ladies, if you fellas show up on my doorstep wearing that much eyeshadow i will call you a fag & probably mock you on the internet.) so larya, be prepared.
coming up here in a few weeks i am going to be spending what has the potential to be the longest weekend of my life thus far with jm darling & the lovely ms. harper. because a lot of what we're shooting is stuff i have dreamed about doing for quite some time now, i decided i have to be at my peak. i've been exercising (mostly) every other day, drinking tons of water, and eating healthier. i'm pretty sure i've slimmed down... but that is nothing in comparison to this: i got fake nails yesterday. FAKE NAILS. granted, they are nowhere near as glorious, long, and sparkly like the ones stiletto would rock but i am still pretty proud of myself for not poking out one of my eyes... yet. that is probably because i have the shortest fake nails in the history of mankind... but they were only $18. i am getting a sweet $10 pedicure this weekend, hooray for tiny asian run establishments that open at 9am and don't close til 6pm.

i am replacing my computer in the next few weeks with a new macbook pro. you might not be able to tell from this journal entry or the various other places i ramble on the internet but half of my keyboard is barely functioning. there is a lot of slamming around and pressing keys repeatedly to yield the desired letters/word result. that'll be nice, i'll repair my toshiba if possible but i am mostly out of love with my pc these days. i miss mac simplicity with non-supplied programs (because thunderbird > mac mail, sorry guys).
now let's move onto something more serious: vehicles. i am vehicle shopping, and i don't even really want to. i have been driving my 1994 honda civic since i first got my driver's license. i am probably the only person i know that is still driving their very first vehicle. and i would continue to do so were it not for two things:
1.) motherfucker has no A/C, and pit stains are not acceptable.
2.) it needs work totalling more than i would be making on a newer car... and it would probably have A/C. see #1 for why that is good.
i have never done this much car related research in my life, so let me share something with you: consumer reports' list of the most reliable used cars. apparently the two vehicles i am the most interested in (honda civics and a scion xb) are in the top 3 cars. good sign i think? at least my research isn't leading me astray. i'll keep you updated because i assure you that if i wind up with a little toaster on wheels i will want to post a billion photos of me riding around in "my new waaaaagon". name whose line i just stole and you can be my personal pop princess.
... i should probably write journals more often. that was fun.

I think the painting you ex made for you is really really cute. I wish I knew someone who could lift a paintbrush or can without something horrible happening. I like the fake nails, looks good. I still am driving the same ar from when I got my learners permit, glad im not the only one. It is ridiculous how fast people go though cars, where the fuck do people get all the money for that? Also, I think you are cute and I enjoy your writing style, it made me smile and giggle.

I may show up at your house with eyeshadow anyway. Having you call me a fag and mock me on the internet might be fun. I have a feeling that being abused by you would be kind of "exciting"! LOL
If you are only looking for a USED car, then ignore this paragraph. If you are looking for a NEW car, then If you don't already know, once you pick out the type of car that you want, go to the websites for all of the car dealers in your area that have that sort of car. Look for a link where you can ask for an internet quote and request one (you may find it through the manufacturer's main site, instead of the local dealer's main site, depending on the company). Once you have requested internet quotes, wait for them to email you back. Some dealers will give you more off than others. When my wife and I were both looking for new cars two years ago, we each decided to get a Ford Focus. The dealer that we ended up buying from gave us $1,200 off EACH car. That is in addition to any rebates or cash back, that they might be offering. It is basically a way to get a lower price on the car, without having to go to the dealerships and "haggle" with them to lower the price. Of course, if you enjoy "haggling", then just go an do that (I HATE haggling).
I know what you mean about A/C. My first two cars were really cheap used cars, that only had radios (no cassette players) and NO air conditioning. When I finally got to where I was able to go and look around for my first new car, I told my wife that my two MAIN priorities were that it have air conditioning and a cassette player (this was before the era of CDs). I was SO HAPPY to finally be able to keep cool on all of the long road trips that I was constantly making for work, and to be able to listen to good music without all of the commercials and news and junk.

That construction site painting is the sweetest thing I've ever seen in my life.
And you and Larya make me go :O
yeah, the next day when the construction crew came in they covered the whole thing in white paint. i think part of the magic was that it only "existed" for a few hours.

Go to a HONDA DEALER and talk to them about PREVIOUSLY OWNED VEHS!!! Wear a skirt.... they'll give you almost everything. I bought a KIA when I got here 2004... it's dorky and is only 9,000 , but brand new and noooooooproblems 5 years later and 60,000 miles..... KIA GLENDALE they have sales.
Don't pay for real estate twice.... that means... beware of art guys that make your toes curl.
lol
I am still so glad you're not in Denver!
the only issue i take with honda is that sometimes they are more expensive to insure because they are stolen so frequently.
i am so glad i'm not there anymore too! we still
... ( view thread )Not for long!!! I have been behaving because they screwed with my hours at work.... and i have a theater date this weekend that's costing me some bucks.... but there's
... ( view thread )oooh that would be fun. message me and we'll work out details once you know more about your schedule.

I had issues with a fucktard on ebay hacking into my account a few months ago. But I put the smackdown on him with my elite ninja skills, so all is well now.
Fake nails were never a functional item for me (oh hai, compulsive nail biter!) but yours look wonderful. I prefer the clean, natural look of them.
And you really need to keep in touch with that art boy-creature. He's got skills.
now that he and i are rekindling our friendship i suspect my future will be much.. artsier?

Wow. I seriously rate Mr. Artfags / b/tards works. The construction site piece is just awesome.
