i can't sleep -- but i am afraid of sleep aids. i always wind up feeling even worse the next day which is not what i need. what i do need is a thing of goldfish, a backrub, and about 10 interchangeable people for spooning purposes. i'm big on the spooning.

how the hell is it may? i swear it was march like a week ago. it's so weird to me the way time speeds up and slows down depending not only on the season but how much shit is on my plate. right now my plate is incredibly full--it borders on too full, but i'm trying to ignore that in the hopes that if i just eat really fast everything will work out.

I suspect I am in need of some kind of romance. It never has to fully bloom or really wind up being much of anything at all--more like a magical first date that ends precisely at the right moment.
