Seriously consumery.
I want new clothes. I've gone forever being unemployed. And now I'm working enough to get some new clothes (i really need warm clothes this winter), but there is the other side of me that wants a couple fun items too. Like a new pair of boots, a new dress, some stockings and a new coat that isnt has heavy as my cool green one. Modcloth owns my soul.
Right now Im particularly interested in these boots. And I want them badly. I only wish they came in brown.

I LOVE COATS WITH HOODS! Great coats make me REALLY happy because I wear dresses year round, and a great coat doesnt make me feel like Im hiding my outfit. Its just like really pretty wrapping paper, but more useful.
And now that I'm working so damn much i dont really get the option to dress like i like very often. Just a chef's coat and thats it. I still intend to carryout my commitment to this schedule at work for 6 months, like I said, But i think once i hit five months I'm going to have to let them know I need to have another day off a week when the 6 months are up. If I was interested in being a chef this would be different. But my move to Portland has inspired and motivated me so consistently and so much that I just cant ignore it. I need to indulge my artistic interests in order to stay happy. Even if I do this and in two years once I get done with my South America project/tour, and start towards a higher education and I never do art as regularly or passionately again, thats ok. I just want to do this. I need to carry out a dream before I really put my head down to absorb all the knowledge I can in academics.
My new place is great. Other than that its really dusty. i woke up this morning and one of my eyes was almost entirely swollen shut. Other than that its great. We have chickens (mmm fresh eggs!) and one of my roommates has two cats who i get to make buddies with without having to actually care for them. Today one of my roommates deep cleaned the kitchen. Now I get to go around with a wet rag to dust the house so this whole puffy eye thing never happens again.

Ooh hey I was hoping I could come over after work tomorrow and pick that cur-yap up and hang out for a little bit. I'll probably be at work past 9. Closer to 10pm. So you know how long itd take.
Also I was thinking I wanted to hit up goodwill and throw together a rad outfit to go with my mask. Be a fancy fox! I was thinking Id do taht early friday afternoon. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that youre not working then so we can play at goodwill together.
If coming tomorrow night would be too late I can come by before or after my goodwill trip if that's alright.
Also do you know if anything came from me in the mail? (ID?) Im worried its not coming and my dumb stupid ass went and left my wallet on the bus last night. What a jerk.

So I work tomorrow. You can come by tonight if you like but I won't be staying up super late or anything. Brandon, of course, will. I work until probably 4:30 tomorrow, so we can chill after goodwill maybe? If you're still around. I honestly haven't checked the mail. I will make B do it while I'm at work today.

wellllllll, I wont be able to really hang out. because i got halloween off, i've had to work every day this week til tomorrow. In other words i have very little time to finish both me and johns masks! so unfortunately I cant hang out for too long tonight. :(
Life is so scrammmmbled. I really need to get more of my life back. I am working too muuuuuuuuchhhhh. eugh.
I had an allergic reaction to the dust in my new place. I woke up two mornings ago with my eye so swollen i couldnt see out of it all too well. I had to ride my bike to the doctor that way. huhhhhhh-scary.
At any rate...I hope that you can come by sooner than later to visit sometime. Unfortunately with my work hours itll have to wait until one of my days off. And even then..i feel like i havent gotten an opportunity to get to know my roommates, i want to still keep them in mind wheni have company. My mom was always weird about having guests over so I think I've just unintentionally become weird about having people over. Time to crack that egg! The roommates, well...I havent seen any of them for more than 5 minutes combined since I moved in. I think I've had more interaction with the cats. Eugher sauce.
