why has julene not left me good ebay feedback on my selling yet?  people are afraid to buy things from me because julene hasn't proven to the world that i sent the goods. 

i'm told i drink too much coffee so i've been limited to 2 coffees a day, 3 when i work till 4am.  nothing was said about redbull...

so, i have a lot of photos.  after annaliese's film camera posts i got jealous and went out and bought a lomo holga.  its kind of my new favorite thing ever, as is lomography.com - i am going to partake in the next mission.  now that i've discovered my roomate has a scanner that actually works, i can upload the pictures!  like i did today :

my mother came down from toronto for christmas which was pretty fucking awesome.  she got in on saturday the 22nd and we proceeded to drink like ferocious tigers at my bar until about 4am.  woke up incredibly hungover but, had to suck it up and have hang out time.  we saw a couple movies while she was here, juno and charlie wilson's war.  both of them were fucking amazing. 

we got to hang out with todd casey, io, vanessa and the rest of my loved ones.  then chelsea called me and told me she was coming to the city to meet up with aria and her boyfriend.  so, of course we all fell in love and had a jolly old time.  i was too drunk to take pictures from that night except for this one :



this is bronson.  he was my christmas present from my dear friend wade.  he was purchased off of crittersinthemail.com - a website wade probably shouldn't have given his credit card number to.  but, good things came out of it... i got a unicorn and named him bronson.  there will be future talk of bronson and his adventures...

so, the day after drunkpartylovedance time with cheslea, aria, boyfriend, mom, io & vanessa we stayed in the house until about 4pm recovering then decided we were starving.  we ate at a meat eater/vegan friendly place and then went off to FAO Schwarz :

and last but certainly not least, from about 10 minutes after we walked in the door, cheslea found the leaf.  it lit up our lives for about an hour, we walked around with him like he was our child and after waiting in line for 15 minutes to buy him... he wasn't for sale.  fucking bullshit.  so, we went into the 24 hr apple store and chelsea drew something in his rememberance :



oh, there was also that time cheslea thought she was a whale/shark :




my mom left this morning on her 1835987547 train ride back up to my homeland but, she says shes gonna try and come back in the spring.  which i think will be awesome but, hopefully i can leave the country by then.  i hope, i hope, i hope.

i'm feeling like in 08 i'm going to focus more on makeup again, i've only done about 4 or 5 jobs this year and that kind of bums me out because i like to do it so much.  so, focusing, rounding, pulling it all together in 08. 

i have a couple DJ-ing gigs in January which is totally random.  They're only for 2 hours each which is perfect for me.  I don't have enough material to surpass 3 hours and have people still think i have good taste in music.  i can pull off the facade for 2 hours no problem. 

my toes are cold
i haven't left my house all day
i have to work for new years
i got a manicure and pedicure with my mom and its still holding up pretty well
todd is coming back tomorrow
i should finish my book for my book club
i have to go feed my neighbors cat
i should do the dishes
i'm going to participate in the mission on lomogrpahy.com this month
i want to go to LA in february
i haven't been back since i left in sept 06'

i had an art show at galapagos on wed, it went well and i have to pick up my art tomorrow.
i'm in a book gang, we're reading into the wild. its going to make me cry.
i'm talking to a friend of mine who recently moved to bombay, india.
he says "my apartment is as much as yours, bombay smells, and there are no subways and lepers ask you for money ALL the time".
today i'll christmas shop.
tonight i'll wrap presents and make cards and smoke pot.
i've been smoking pot lately...
i really miss katie and jorma, i'll see one of my two estranged best friends in less than 2 weeks.
i bought a holga lomo with all this lomo talk lately..
i'm going to pick up my first 2 rolls of film today from the print shop.
i wish my husband would email me back.

well hello there.  its been a while hasn't it?

my computer is highly neglected by me these days, i am missing a d button so i have to press it with the tip of my fingernail and my screen is about to break off.  also, i suppose not having internet at home for a long time kind of messed up the whole "being in touch" thing.  anyway, there are many things to update on i suppose.  when i opened my computer today i guess the last thing i did on it was watch the porn that annaliese bought me while she was in nyc.  i don't suggest buying bitch on bitch 2.  the first scene is boring, the second is too "actey" but the third is alright.  i guess one out of 3 for 5 bucks isn't THAT bad.  i got my teeth scraped while she was here too by the man who has the worlds biggest dogs.  they're adorable and slobbery.

what else... my roomate asked me to be a part of this art show so i've been painting for it.  i'd post the pictures here but i feel like that would be stupid considering i'm going to be showing them in a couple of weeks, maybe after the show i'll post them.  i'm going to price them pretty low so that people buy them for sure.  i just kinda want to get my art out there i guess... yes, i stole that theory from my roomate who's also pricing his low. 

i don't have the blond in my hair anymore, all brown.  it makes me feel like i blend in more.  i really like it though i do miss my hair when it was freshly dyed and not yellow looking.  oh well, i had that look for 4 years.

a couple of months ago i shot with Mr. Picnic.  I trecked out to staten island and hung out in this giant warehouse space and shot till 6am when i had to be at work at 11.  i was quite proud of myself for staying up so long but, fun things happened like this :



so that was a few months ago...  i want them to come back.

i went to san francisco for 5 days for a friend of mines wedding.  she looked beautiful and i had a great vacation.  some photos :

more news... on thanksgiving my friend tim invited me over to his friend ethans house where they tatttooed a turkey with red food coloring.  we of course ate it.  it looked like it had been slaughtered when it was done but, it was pretty amazing anyway.

my co worker and i have started a book "gang".  we think it sounds tougher to say gang instead of club and we are naming ourselves - the spine breakers.  GET IT?

i did makeup on a shoot a couple of months ago where we went upstate and ran around like crazy girls.  i bet you wouldn't think that 5 girls could get the job done but, we did and it was epic.  im still waiting to get the pictures back but a friend of mine saw them and said they're amazing.

i retired my sidekick after 2 or 3 years of having one.  i was endlessly devoted to it until annaliese  came to new york and showed me the joys of the blackberry.  i feel like a grown up now with a grown up phone and everything.  its pretty great. 

todd casey came to new york a while back too (i don't think he should have ever left) and we took a road trip to philly.  i stole his camera and made some pictures :








he's coming back soon which makes me pretty happy. 

im going to kansas city in january for kat's wedding.  its going to be like a huge reunion.  all the girls from l.a that i used to hang out with on an every day basis are going to be there so its going to be a weekend of being in complete love.  i have to get a bridesmaid dress still but i don't know where to start looking.  i suppose macy's would do?  hmm, i should get on that.  Mmm katie, virgin, ashley, annaliese, kat... all in love.  so much love.

i think thats all for now i guess?  life is busy, i am never not working and yep.

i'm reading a book called portnoy's complaint.  its pretty funny.

i may possibly be in l.a at the end of jan.  right before my biiiiirthday.
