Here is a mix of things that I have been up to of late!
My best friend A was in town for a couple of weeks. We had giant pumpkin burgers, and went to a dance music festival, and went out dancing on the weekends and I went and had lunch and icecream in Fremantle (the seaside town closest to my city) and for bubble tea and went thrifting multiple times.
I found a cat mask at a thriftstore for $1. Isn't it adorable?

I couldn't stop wearing it, so I wore it out to a club that night...

And got snapped by my friend Lloyd! The dress that I'm wearing is actually is an 80s skirt which I found for $3AUD that works much better as a strapless summer dress.
I also like to dress up all goth as well. I have had these boots since I was 16 and this photo was taken the last night before they broke beyond repair. I have used tubes and tubes of superglue on them in the past, but this time there is no saving them. They will be sorely missed.

...sometimes I like to shake my head around when I dance...

I get caught with a cigarette in my mouth, all sweaty after dancing more often than not...

And after all that dancing I end up looking sleeeeeepy

During the week I dress up in preposterous outfits and prance around the sights of my hometown for the last time! I'm a natural blonde, by the way, here is an artifical approximation of my natural state.

This photo was taken by Charlotte on her Diana F+ camera, a few months ago when she was still here. Soon I will be with her again! I can't wait!

I was trying to get a picture of my awesome Zippo gift from my manager, but it didn't work out that well. But I think the photo is kinda badass.

Here is a kiss for all of you!

Thank you!
And thank you for always, always commenting on my journals and writing. It's so easy to feel lost amongst all of the other amazing girls on this site, but you always have something to say which makes me smile or blush, and I really appreciate that! <3

You are most welcome! I try to offer the positive reinforcement when I can. But as you say, there are so many models that one can only comment so much. I also try to perpetuate the community aspect of this site. There really are some great people here.
But I love your creativity! I notice it and I want you to know that I enjoy it and that it is meaningful.
And for the record, you ARE one of the amazing girls here!! :)

Thrifting is the best!

About 80% of the contents of my wardrobe I've paid less than $10AUD for whilst thrifting. My housemate Parker, and I are basically pros at it (I've been doing it since I was 14) and I can't walk past a thriftstore without going in. In the past week alone I've bought that white skirt/dress, a polka dot skirt and a blue gingham nightgown that makes an awesome dress with a belt, a baby blue nylon slip which is one of the most beautiful slips I've ever found, a handful of cheap, brightly coloured plastic rosaries and my cat mask. (and I wonder why I'm finding it difficult to pack my clothes for my move...)
And thank you. I don't really like myself blonde because I'm so used to the black now. I've been dying it black for 5 years, with an interlude of red in between! <3

Sounds like an awesome time. And those boots are pretty epic. I had shoes break once -leather school shoes- and my shop teacher used this hot resin-type stuff on them. I can't remember what it's called exactly, but it looks like a long tube of solid plastic that melts in this gun-looking thing? You could probably go to a hardware store (or I'm guessing a shoe-repair type place :P) and get them fixed up pretty easily with it.
I'm curious about this pumpkin burger. It sounds interesting. How do you make 'em? :)
Viola
Ah, it's not the soles or anything fixable that's broken, a hole has torn in the leather near the heel, from rubbing on the plastic thing that supports your ankles in boots. I could probably just gaffa tape them up, but I think they've had a good life.
I did not make said pumpkin burger (although they'd probably be easy enough) but I have been frequenting an awesome place in my city called Jus Burgers. The pumpkin burger is a big chunk of pumpkin, covered in panko crumbs and then fried on a grill (as though it's a big slab of meat) and then instead of tomato sauce and normal cheese, there's pesto and goat's cheese and then typical burger salad. They are MASSIVE and by far, one of the best things I've eaten in a very long time. $13AU, but totally worth it. You do not have to eat anything else that day.
