basically all that tells me is that in blackjack, i've busted. lost. one too many. 21+1 is one too many and that is that.

it may or may not be my birthday.

listening to: the sainte catherines.

on tour you see many rad places. not necessarily rad, but cool to see in person and such.. even if you already have tons of times, it's still fun cause it's semi-new and entertaining because it's not what you know as "comfortable" or "usual".

places for me this tour have included, but are not limited to:

new orleans. the white house. fenway park. boston in general.

one of the cooler places by far this tour was Montreal.

right now we are on tour with me first and the gimme gimmes and the shows are full to capacity and the venues are huge and we have dressing rooms with food and whatever drinks we want and i can smoke canadian weed all over the place and i get to watch spike who has one of the most amazing voices in the world sing covers of songs i grew up learning. nice life, right?

it's super fun and i can write interviews for you guys to read which rules because even though i'm busing hanging tough with my bros, i have downtime and waittime and there has been wireless everywhere and i'm able to fulfill my duties even though the other side's been lagging a little bit. but then i think that if these bands are touring they are dealing with the same thing i am which is probably not having wireless alot.

the blues of tour:

you feel at home, but you're not at all.

your friends forget about you because you're gone all the time.

you make rad new friends that you can never forget and it sucks because you want them all to live in one place and they can't and even if they did it wouldn't matter because we're all always on tour and we can't always be on the same tour.

sucks.

listening to: the opening band...
hey doods.....x

i'm in charlotte, north carolina right now. i've sold one LP. =/
so i've got a new set up.
and what a set... that was a fun night. reminds me of how much i miss matthew. =(

i was going to by this privacy filter so only the person loking straight on to the computer could see the screen contents, but i didn't. thus leading to my reasons for being bummed i can't look at it right now... too many kids around.

funny story..
the leftover crack merch girls are suicide girls. weird vibe.

listening to: pillar of salt-the thermals
the following albums have made my year:

marked men-fix my brain
marked men- on the outside
the thermals- the body the blood the machine
dead to me-cuban ballerina
riverboatgamblers- to the confusion of our enemies.

that's fun.
the marked men are seriously the best band, hands down, i've heard in quite awhile.
get into em.

going on the road again. that's also fun.
myspace.com/deadtomesf for locations/dates.

listening to: marked men-fix my brain
so i know while ive popped in frequently i've only been partially here when i do. sorry, you all know i was out on the road and i got home yesterday via a drive across the country (yes, ny to cali) ..talk about cabin fever. however, i'm really stoked i did it because that's kinda something i've always wanted to be able to say i did... i have no idea why, but yeah. and also to throw it in my dad's face that he said 5-6 days, when it only took us two and a half! haha fucker! =)

so originally i wanted to write every night from the hotel room, but my computer decided to alert me of a faulty hard drive just when i needed it most. =(  bummer!
my reason for stating this is that... i have so many stories i don't even know where to start or how to fit them all in a journal entry that will actually keep your attention. i'll write a few of the funny moments below to maintain both of our sanities.
-got drunk quite a few times and passed out fully clothed shoes n all in random hotel beds that weren't even mine.
sorry i took your beds guys. i owe ya one.
-getting on stage in red plastic sunglasses and dancing and singing along to my favorite RBG gamblers song in toledo, ohio, where the number of tour crew outnumbered  the number of show attendees.
-seeing a hit n run in milwaukee involving dudes in sweat pants and gold chains that after trying resolve the issue, just said fuck it and ordered about ten pizzas.
-ian riverboat: "im soooooo weird right now!"
-getting pulled over in baltimore on our way to CMJ in Brooklyn, NY, and being numerously questioned and completely searched by about 6 police officers including a narcotics K9. now you all know im a stoner so guess where the weed went... yup! initially just between my legs. but due to the high anxiety provided by the K9, eventually went entirely up my vagina. rad.
-van conversation and funny voices and accents and impersonations.

Porcelain came out with some friends. Catra came out with her rad boyfriend and took us out afterwards and pretty much just reinstated the fact that she is not only the hottest bitch on here, but one of the raddest people i've ever met, too.
Issa came to Chicago and hosted us at her house and was a gem as usual.
Alex aka Fotophucker, came out the the Fest V in Gainesville and took some sweet ass photos and hung with me a little, but not as much as I would've liked to since I was working. He is a rad dude! I'm glad I had the pleasure of meeting him and hopefully maintaing a friendship because he is amazing!!

Overall, I had a great time and I missed you guys so much, and I love some of my new sets that went up, as well as seeing some of the first sets of some beautiful ladies. Charlotte, you are fucking beautiful. Goddamn.

Oh, and I'm leaving again to go on tour with deadtome/leftover crack as well as me first and the gimme gimmes.
dont tell anyone. but check out their myspaces for dates and if i'm in your area come see me and ill take care of you.
