TODAY is the opening day for the King Tut exhibit, and I haven't been more excited! I've been waiting ever since Juuulyy and it's finally here. Now all I need is someone to take me!

here's a little bit about the snazzy hipster:
Tutankhamun (1341 BC – 1323 BC) was an Egyptian Pharaoh of the Eighteenth dynasty (ruled 1333 BC – 1324 BC) during the period of Egyptian history known as the New Kingdom. His original name, Tutankhaten, means "Living Image of Aten", while Tutankhamun means "Living Image of Amun". Often the name Tutankhamun was written Amen-tut-ankh, meaning "living image of Amun", due to scribal custom which most often placed the divine name at the beginning of the phrase in order to honor the divine being. He is possibly also the Nibhurrereya of the Amarna letters. He was likely the eighteenth dynasty king 'Rathotis', who according to Manetho, an ancient historian, had reigned for nine years - a figure which conforms with Flavius Josephus' version of Manetho's Epitome.
The 1922 discovery by Howard Carter of Tutankhamun's intact tomb received worldwide press coverage and sparked a renewed public interest in ancient Egypt, for which Tutankhamun's burial mask remains the popular face.

Sooo today was a pretty busy day for me. :D this morning i woke up pretty sore from kickboxing and i was sooo tired from not really sleeping last night because of all the things i've been tied up in. (i did the makeup for my first big fashion show ever this weekend!!) After crawling out of bed, i realized had a dentist appointment that i almost forgot about, that was at 12. it was just a check up and all they really found out was that my teeth are perfect.

after that, i ate some sushi and shot a DIY set that left my ENTIRE apartment a complete mess.
seriously. and although my apartment was trashed and messy, the set turned out amazing. :D

i went to a football game also. it was my little brothers'.
and now that he's always around, he makes me have more school spirit now than i EVER did when i was in high school.
im going to try to laayy down
