<3 i'm excitedddd!

is the biggest disappointment ever.

i always thought that trust was a good thing,
i’ve come to realize that trust has led to the most terrible situations in my life.
I always think that I’m being cautious and careful,
and then someone always proves me wrong.

you’d think that it’s be way easier to find a nice guy in this place,
or maybe just one that won’t take you for all your worth.
i seem to always find the shittiest human in the room
and give them all I have without with out question or concern.
three times around, you would think I might have learned.
hopefully this time will be the last time.
i need to take my heart off my sleeve,
stop thinking that every guy who asks me for my number wants to date me,
and that chances are they just want to fornicate.
even if they say flat out that they want to date/like me/ are interested,
they could entirely be lying.

there isn’t good in everyone. i thought there was.
but there’s been a couple people who’ve proven that wrong.
and for the future, it’s my past that’s made me so bitter and cold-hearted.
i never wanted to be this way,
believe me I don’t like putting up walls for you to break down.
i just can’t help but leave my last situation feeling defeated.
i think I bring out the monster in all the guys I become involved with.
like Bane on Batman and Robin,
he starts out like a skinny, nerdy little guy,
then they inject him with the serum he turns into this crazy, fighting, killing machine.
I seem to have that effect on people.

so I vow, right here, right now,
i will no longer believe all the words that go through my ears and grab my heart.
