as always .. stiletto is a badass.  and i sorta felt like a badass too for the night.  driving around shooting in risky locations.  this set took place prior to the 7-11 set.  i saw the check cashing place and it seemed to fit stilettos personality.  money + ghetto check cashing place = stiletto.  although if that were true, gucci mane would have to be added somehow to the mix.  instead i played mainly jay-z, nas, and lupe fiasco during our excursion.  anyhow, we shot this very quickly ... there were several shots where you can clearly make me out in the reflection of the glass.  and when i saw that happening, the perfectionist in me wanted to stop, and find the angle that wouldnt produce that reflection.  but i realized almost simultaneously that the whole point of this set is spontaneity, having fun, being wild.  dont the kids cal it "willin out".  now i feel old.  anyhow, i decided that the set wouldnt be as authentic had i moved out of the way and disguised my reflection.  so fuck it.  there i am.  i believe one or two cars slowed down and made a u turn so they could catch another glimpse.  and a cop car turned the corner where we were shooting either right before or right after.  good times!  more to follow .....  (you guys are going to flip over some of the locations ive shot recently)
