this was the first set of he day.  who knew she'd wind up naked in a seven eleven and thrown out of a club in downtown la by the end of the night.  originally i wanted this to be a light painting set.  for those that dont know what that is, its done by setting a long exposure.  i think when i was experimenting i was doing 4 or more seconds.  then you trigger the strobe at some point during this exposure and it captures the subject in a pose, the rest of the time, the subject or you is walking around the composition with a flashlight.  so as a result you see the subject and these random bits of glowing light that appear to be coming from nowhere.  we did a couple of them and then i realized that i was doing something i do quite often, pleasing myself by creating this retarded lighting situation, instead of just shooting a beautiful girl in a really flattering way.  the great thing about shooting a girl like stiletto is im allowed to do pretty extreme lighting and have it turn out very flattering.  essentially theres no limits.  so i took one strobe and pushed it off to the corner of the room.  so theres really dramatic lighting.  harsh shadows.  this gives us a chance to explore her curves as they are heavily defined by shadow.  and thats what i love, the detail of a beautiful womans body.  there are so many angles to shoot, so many positions to show.  all that highlight a different aspect of that woman.  so she crawled around, tweaked herself into crazy positions and i ... uhh ... watched.  so that you may watch.  :)
