I just wanted to give another giant round of snuggles and thanks to everyone who's commented and faved and friended and YAY! Thankies so much for all the love. While modeling is not my full time job, it's a hobby I very much enjoy and it makes my day to see my work please so many. It was such a fun set to shoot and it's been one of my all time faves, you guys cannot imagine how excited I was to finally see it go up! WOOT! And I've already had a few people ask, so I might as well explain this tid bit:

Yes, that was shot in a doctor's office. The lovely Camille lady who helped do my make up worked there and snuck us in after closing. While I was really in a doctor's office, we were not shooting in an exam room. As you can tell by the lovely clutter, we were back in the storage closet! There just happened to be an extra exam chair and ta-dah, a set was born! :D :D 

Also, much love to Meridian and  toGeekchic who created my AWESOME HAIR! I look like a slutty version of Kitty from that 70's show. She was a nurse as well, wasn't she? RAWR! :D :D :D I LOVES IT!

On another happy note, I'm getting ready to send in my next batch of sets so keep your eyeballies peeled in the coming weeks for more wonderful nakeyness.

I hate to end this on a sour tone, but I do want to clarify something because apparently it's not clear enough. Some people are taking themselves WAY too seriously. I swear, this will make sense in a moment. As aformentioned, modeling is my hobby. I don't do this for the money, I do it because I love doing it; it's fun, it's a neat way to meet people and a unique way to express myself. I write part time, have a wonderful husband, and I'm finishing my degree in two more years; trust me, this is not meant to be my chosen career. It's just a kick ass way to earn a little extra cash and hang around the hottest ladies on the damn web! RAWR!

So, here's the point of that rambling. If I find a particular person rude and unprofessional, whether it's a photographer or MUA or even a fellow model... I don't care how 'popular' or 'talented' you are, sweetie. I don't want anything to do with you. I don't give a rat's ass who the hell you think you are, LOL. You might have your dear little followers crawling at your feet just to catch a drop of your sweat, but you're not shit to me. Once you've crossed that line between friendly creepy and out right offensive, don't expect to hear from me again.

I have to admit, though; You're right, it would make me look good to work with you, might improve my portfolio and get me other shoots in the future, even paying gigs. I've even been told it would be foolish to turn such a chance down... That may all very well be true but guess what? 

I don't care. :D

Nope, don't care. Don't want to work with me? Oh, boo hoo. Sad face. LOL I do not need you. I do not need anything from you. I don't care about getting paid gigs or more hits on my MySpace or that new snazzy shot for my port. I already have talented and wonderful people I've worked with for years that I get all the snugglies and pretties from and they don't come packing any of the bullshit you do. You expect me to deal with your disgusting and unprofessional antics? You're out of your fucking head.

I had said this would make sense somewhere and I think I lost it. It's almost four in the morning and I'm sleepy and happy but pissed off and I need a cookie. I'm tired of people in this little web we live in acting like they're hot shit and because they're such hot shit, I should just drop everything and worship them, give in to their every whim and overlook the fact they're a raging jackass? I think it's the vague attitude I sense that they think I 'need' to work with them or be in with them, whatever, or that it would benefit me so greatly I'm automatically expected to give in and ignore that they're a sorry waste of flesh? Talented, certainly. Tolerable human beings, absolutely not.

I keep harping that this is a hobby for me and I'm not trying to directly insinuate that the working girls that chose modeling as their career would put up with such bullshit. However, I hear so many horror stories of what some have gone through and put up with because oh, he was a GREAT photographer, or she was such a SUPER DUPER hair stylist, etc etc and when I asked them WHY they would put themselves through that, I always got a similar response. Because it would help their port, it would help them get more of a reputation, blah blah.

I don't care if this is your job, no one should let themselves be bitched out like a two cent whore. I realize sacrifices must be made and you might have to do things sometimes you don't like or agree with, but never to the point of degrading yourself or being treated like shit.

Why do you mention this, Soly?  Because I keep getting this attitude from models and photogs and all the like that they can treat me like crap and I'll still work with them because they're soooo groovy. It has to be coming from somewhere and it troubles me. By troubles, I mean it pisses me the fuck off.

Why are you asking yourself questions? Because it's four in the morning now, this journal doesn't make any sense, I'm bitchy, I still want a cookie and... I'm going to leave now. I'm off the soapbox, I'm done. I should never check my email while taking a break from writing a journal because I see something that irks me and viola, insta-bitch journal. My apologies in advance to anyone who tortured themselves by actually reading this rambling mess. <3 <3 <3
