i haven't gotten laid in three months (and haven't had awesome, mind blowing and quite public sex since freaking june), and as a result i'm fairly sure my sex drive has actually shrivelled up and died. i used to get home from work, baracade myself in my room with an array of sex toys and go nuts and pass out afterwards, and now i just get home and pass out. WHAT IS MY LIFE. so i decided that after two weeks it was time i got off, so i came home with every intention of a solo fuck marathon, only to fall asleep before i even got there. AT SEVEN PM. AM I SUDDEN AN EIGHTY YEAR OLD WOMAN!? i need to get laid.
so OBAMARAMA!!!!!! i don't live in america so the us election didn't really affect me, but i still nerded out over it all the same. something that was really dissapointing to find out about was proposition eight, though. again it's something that doesn't directly affect australian's, but any positive movement in gay rights could one day lead to us getting equality aswell, which is something that i'm very passtionate about. i was organising to get a plane straight to california to attend the protest that happened about proposition eight being approved, but by the time i find out about it and went to organise tickets in vain hopes my maxed out credit card would still go through, there was just no way i could get there in time. but i heard and read and saw that it was amazing!!! you guys that were a part of that are amazing and i admire you all.
ALSO, I HAVEN'T UPLOADING HALLOWEEN PHOTOS YET!!!!! i just realised that then.
we don't really do halloween in australia, but my house (aka the jungle) decided to do it anyway this year as basically an excuse to look ridiculous. ten cookies to anybody that can guess what i was!! (hint: not kanye west)
note: middle is actually a costume. he really, really does not look like that at all.

I'm really happy Obama won, too. I think it's such a big step forward for this country. But as you said, this Prop 8 getting passed is just a huge disappointment! I really thought it would get shot down, but California people will surprise you sometimes. There are more conservatives here than I think. It's so frustrating, regardless of sexual orientation; voting 'no' on Prop 8 was the right thing to do! How did some people not see that?! It's like we take one step forward, and then another back.

exactly, it was completely and totally the right thing to do. it wasn't like it was trying to have gay people be treated special in some way or get something that hetersexual people didn't, it was the complete opposite of that. it just kinda seems inhuman to not want somebody to have the same basic rights because of who they love.
not up to much, just working as per usual. although i have next weekend off, which is a first in such a very, very long time. what about you my dear?
