I am currently making Vegan Energy Orbs for snacking purposes this afternoon! I am going to the Roller Derby with boyfriend and brother today, and we are meeting up with GG member thebeat and her husband. How exciting! For those of you who don't know what the Roller Derby is, basically it is an all-female sport played on roller skates. Full contact too, I believe! Should be brutal. (I am currently lurking it to learn the game rules before the match today. Tis my first!) I always wanted to be a Derby girl but there is no way I would do it if there was a possibility of my nose breaking. No more painful surgery for me if I can help it!
Here are some more webcam shots for you all, as Mac's Photo Booth is possibly the best invention ever and I will never tire of using it daily. That bambi dress is one of my favourite items of clothing. Once I wore it out and met a cute girl named Stacey, who nicknamed me Bambi. She is one of the hottest girls on the planet and every time I see her out she yells "BAMBIIII!!!!!". Kinda rocks my world. Also, that leopard scarf is my favourite ^^
That is my baby Selphie in the last photo. She has been acting really depressed since I brought Winnie home after moving back in with my parents. I feel really guilty about it, but I won't be staying home forever. I hope to move out again next year...
Anyway, she kind of stands around looking at everyone sadly and feeling rejected unless she is being cuddled. We all try really hard to give her extra attention, but sometimes she is so quiet we have no idea she is lurking around. Her behavior has become more and more antisocial and withdrawn, and about a week ago she began urinating on random objects like beds, sheets and tables. She tends to pee on areas that Winnie spends time on. Territorial, I guess. My dad got really upset, so now she and Lulu stay outside most of the day (which they normally do when everybody is working, but since my brother and I are currently unemployed, they have been inside almost full-time.)
I really hope she finds some happiness again, we are all trying ultra hard to make her feel loved because we simply adore her. I know she will be happier when I move out and bring Winnie with me. I just hope she is okay until then. =( Jealousy is sad with pets because it's not like I can just sit her down and explain the situation to her. *sniffle*

Oh, speaking of fair trade, I found some amazing organic fair trade chocolate at my local supermarket! It is a lot cheaper than most of the fair trade chocolate I have found, and it tastes incredible!

My friends housemate has a 21st coming up soon, and since I am short on cash (and she and I hardly know each other) I made her a cute collage and bracelet. Here is a shot of the collage, cos I thought it was mega awesome.

My eyebrows are taking their time growing, but by the end of the year they should be perfect again. SAY NO TO OVER-PLUCKING!
Still no word on my Hardcore DIY, but it has been sent in and hopefully it is accepted <3 Will keep you all updated on that.
I best be off, these orbs won't make themselves and I need at LEAST one match of COD4 before I go! (I am so freaking addicted. I got 10 kills a few days ago and I had to text people to brag. Srsly, HUGE score for me, being a beginner and all.)

i tried out last season to be on a Derby team up here... sadly didn't make the cut, but i'll probably try again. it's tough... but my anger loves it. lmao.

I MUST TRY OUT FOR A TEAM! I read that tryouts are in October so I may look into it now and see if I am keen... gotta get my skating practice going though! The sport turned out to be WAY less contact than I expected. Lots of falling over though. No punches to the nose as far as I could tell ;)
Oh and I was going for the sailor team, mostly because they gave us some pom poms so by default we just cheered for them. And there was these weird stunted girls on the other team, like two of them, that scared me hahahhaha. They lost by TWO points. It was an intense match!!!!!!!

Selphie looks kinda freaked out in that photo. Animals can do some strange things when stressed. They're instincts only allow them a limited number of responses to change, and unfortunately, peeing everywhere is one of them. I hope she gets back to normal soon!

Roller Derby is awesome! I keep forgetting to find the L.A. Derby girls here; I know L.A. has a few teams. Those girls don't fuck around - they beat the shit out of each other. What fun! :)

inda one of the coolest scarves ever! Leopard FTW. Selphie always looks freaked out when she is picked up. She does not like being held. Neither does Winnie. I am sure that as soon as I leave again she will be okay... until then I hope she survives okay! Poor thing.

Try some vegan food first and then see how you feel! I adore vegan and vegetarian food, the only reason I am not still a vego is because I became heavily iron and protien defficient and it kind of freaked me out. I may try again soon!

Roller derby is indeed full contact. We have a pretty decent league here in Tampa. One of the girls I used to go to school with is on one of the local teams. I have never been, but would love to. Some of the girls are yum! ;) heh heh

God so much to comment on! Firstly i am getting very curious about your vegan energy orbs, i might need to locate the recipe if they're that good that you keep making them over and over again. Secondly , your bambi dress is adorable! That was the first movie i ever saw in cinemas when i was little. Thirdly, I LOVE your scarf. Im always looking for interesting bags/hats/scarfs and if i saw it at the shops id be like... score. Fourthly, that dress is so pretty. Fiftly and finally, thanks so much for that unexpected talk just before, i felt better (relieved) afterwards but it sounded like i brought bad shit up. Im really sorry about that. I hope your ok, send them all to hell.

I make them all the time and I always eat them nom nom, I will send you the recipe for sure!! The bambi dress was from Supre, not sure if they sell them any more but they are only like $22 each. The scarf I got about two years ago from Off Ya Tree... but the brand is Draven so you might be able to get it online or something? The pretty red dress was $25 from Valleygirl haha! And I am glad we had the chat, I am feeling okay now so no stress ^^ I just really despise talking about skankeh mole exes and nasty past experiences. Bah humbuck!
