the look on their face is priceless

Hey babes!

Well, yeah. I have some news.

(I feel like everytime I post, I'm explaining why I haven't posted in awhile.) So the reason I haven't posted in awhile has just been life stuff but...health stuff!

Refresher course: I have a tumor on my pituitary gland (middle of the brain...regulates hormones). I found this out by finally going to doctors when I had physical symptoms & blood tests showed that I overproduce lady hormones. YAY!

So....it's been a weird almost 2 years. BUT I JUST FOUND OUT SOME NEWS----

(if you'll note the title/topic of this journal entry... The face people make is hilarious in its mortified discomfort & expectation violation)

I'm stoked on this news. The average person is taken aback by my exclamations of excitement...

but wtf am i talking about, right?

I can't have kids! YAYYYYYYYYYYYYY so stoked.

---

Probably a huge bummer for others who deal with hormonal imbalances but YESSSSS, I've been trying to find a doctor to tie my tubes and they refuse to until having at least one child. Ew.

---

My set is up tomorrow & I can't wait for you to see it. Some of my fave pics, really.

----

Here I am last week.

Ooof...sorry to hear about this tumor of yours. That sounds like it kinda sucks. But yay for no babies! My bff's fiance wants to get a vesectemy, but few doctors will do that, because he's under 30, because he's never had a child...blah blah blah. I think it's bull. I hope the health things get better. *hugs*

i wish that people seriously interested and SEEKING OUT responsible, not cheap ways of sterilization were taken more seriously.

Ages I didn't want kids but was told I'd change my mind (surprise! never did):

I get that a lot, and so do many of my friends who never want children. "Oh, you're still young, you'll change your mind". No, I fucking won't...I think I know well enough what I want and don't want, nearing 30. :/

I hope and pray that I'm not sterile.

I am delighted to hear that SOMETHING, out of all the shitty things we put up with on a daily basis having chronic conditions, worked out to your advantage!! I feel like throwing a no babies party with you! (Ive never wanted them either, and although ive never been told that i wouldnt be able to have a child if i wanted, I relish in the fact that atleast because of my shitty health and body issues that i have very much lowered chances of anything being able to survive up in there) <3<3!
